Nice book
Kelly Schwarze is as usual amazing and I love his books but he could look a bit more on the bright side I felt like the other book “what film schools don’t tell you” was a bit negative it was more about how to make a film and the cons of it than what film schools actually don’t tell you but this book seems alright

Great Book And Successor
This book is chock full of honest information. It is an excellent sequel to Kelly's prior book. Kelly holds nothing back and tells would-be filmmakers what they need to hear. He gives honest examples best on his real world experience. A worthy book to place into your filmmaker library. Highly recommended.

Action!
"A Filmmaking Mindset" urges readers to reevaluate their approach and goals in film making and helps sort out so many of the problems we encounter. This book stresses the fundamentals of choosing and knowing the hallmarks of one's genre inside and out in the creation of an effective script. We're reminded that Less is More when it comes to dialog and characters. It moves on to describe how, once a script is complete, it's time for a cold hard business like state of organization and careful planning to maximize your assets. This is a fine book with great concepts and practical examples written by someone who has real experience and knows his subject!

Putting myself on top of the heap
This book by Kelly Schwarze is an Inspiration. I'm a very talented Actor who has been walking around circles because Hollywood makes you do that just to squeeze all the money they can out of you from photos acting classes agent fees intensive group these I'll kind of crap. You n rd vey break through the thick wall. I've decided to write and star in my own film this way I'll be getting the part I want and put it where I'll get exposure. I don't need someone else to do this for me. I'm putting myself up there.
