Slows dinner down
Our dog Alli is a rescue with a healthy appetite. She eats VERY fast. This bowl slows her down and seems to help with her teeth also. She still eats fast. But it definitely helps. The top part comes off so I can pop it in the dishwasher to clean it which is a bonus.Alli gives this bowl two paws up. 🐾

Highly recommend
This product turned out great and the immediate solution to my dogs fast eating habits. The product did a great job slowing both of my belgian malinois from eating too fast. Very easy to clean and works great.

Silicone is easier on my doggo's nose. :)
I have a few slo-bowls that have been great in the past, but as my dog has gotten older, we've noticed his nose is more sensitive (as is the rest of his body too). So I found this and love the silicone because it's much easier on his nose.... I DO wash his bowl every night and so this one isn't the easiest to clean well &/or dry, because it collects a lot of water in between the silicone and the bowl...but it's nice that the two are separate-able. :). Overall it's not a bad bowl, it does slow him down, but not as much as his other ones, but since it's nice on his nose I'm glad I purchased! :)

Not for super chewers
Was super excited about this as my 1yo GSD is a super fast eater. After the very first use she had bitten off 1 spike and then tried to eat the side. It is now cracked and broken around the rim and while still somewhat usable, I'm afraid she will cut her mouth.

Great for slowing older dogs without hurting gums
My jack russell loves this bowl. The other hard plastic slow-feeders were hurting her teeth and gums, but this one is softer silicone. Slows her down, gives her some enrichment, and she doesn’t hesitate like she did the others that were hurting her. Took us a while to figure out. Might be an issue for your dog, too? Try this one!!

Dog quite enjoys it
I would say it does what it says and the slight rubber nubs on the bottom will keep it from moving. I would just say that if you don’t clean it immediately after your dog is done eating, it’s quite hard to clean. Especially the tips of the spikes. I use salmon oil in his food daily and it’s hard to clean it off when it dries up, but that’s my only complaint.

Good bowl, Easy to chew up
So I got this bowl because I have a dog who eats WAY too fast. This bowl helped her so much. She slowed down her eating and actually chewed her food.HOWEVER! I can’t leave the bowl on the floor like her normal food bowl. She completely destroyed the bowl AND the silicone inside. So overall, great bowl. Just don’t leave the bowl on the floor if your dog really likes to chew stuff up.

Slows him down a bit
Doesn't slow my dog down as much as I was hoping but it is better than an open bowl. Plus the soft rubber spikes kind of help clean his gums.No idea what it means by suction power? Have yet to see any suction function.

It works as it claims... somewhat...
If your dog is highly food motivated (ie finishes food in under 6 seconds) this will extend the eating to maybe 30-40 seconds. The big payoff is that it is relatively quiet -- perfect for the first early morning feeding. We've tried about ten other 'slow feeders/toy stuffers' and, to be blunt, the slowest our Lab will eat food is if we huck/scatter it in the back yard... then it might take him 2-4 mins. Barring that, the wobble kong comes in second, averaging a little over one minute but the major downside is the crazy noise it makes, and the mess it leaves all over the floor! Stuffer feeder times are pretty similar to the wobble kong but once the "plug" is broken, it takes maybe a minute & there's still crumbs everywhere. Walk feeding (aka leash training) works the best at 45 mins. Therefore, for our sanity, we alternate between 4-5 different things but this "nipple bowl" as my wife hates me calling it, gets used at least once a day.Next time when the wife wants a dog though, it's gonna be a lot smaller... and will look much like a cat!

The spikes inside the bowl are soft not hard
Since the spikes inside the bowl are soft my dog has no difficulties to eat its food. I was looking for a bowl that would have slowing down his eating, it is certainly not the case with that bowl. A last comment, I ordered a blue bowl but I received a gray one.
