Jaxon With An X: A Novel (Small Towns | Big Lives) Paperback – July 6, 2020

This book has a great story line and a quick hook! Some of the events I didn't see coming. I loved it.

It's not often that I find a book that I just cannot put down. I am a voracious reader and have been since I was in elementary school. This book reeled me in immediately. Although I know it's a work of fiction, it felt so real. I never laughed while reading it but I did smile in several places involving Trigger and a few others, and I cried - a lot! While it is a work of fiction, it feels all too real. I know these things happen, but people just don't talk about it. I have already recommended this book to many both privately and on FB. I hope it will affect you as it did me, but we are all different and all have different views. I'm sure this will touch you and your heart. Thank You Mr. Wall, you are an excellent story teller. Thank you for putting me right there with the characters and their feelings. It doesn't happen often so when it does, I like to take the time to say THANK YOU.

This was a good book. I had a hard time putting it down. So sad what happened to them children

For a work of fiction, this feels authentic and real. The protagonist’s narrative opens the reader to his deepest thoughts and develops him into a rich character. I could not put this book down. It is so well written that specific crimes were alluded to but not described nor specifically named. This definitely broadens the range of readership easily to high school, possibly middle. As horrible as the story is, it is a raw reminder of what lurks out there, sometimes in broad daylight.

Really enjoyed this book. Sad but captivating and hopeful. I plowed through it in 2 days. I couldn't wait to see how it ended.

Wonderful book. I couldn’t put it down. A real page turner, keeping you on the edge of your seat page after page.

This book had me in tears and smiling all at once. fantastic read. The characters came to life which in my opinion, makes a great story.

This was an easy read. I wouldn't say it was extremely exciting but it held my interest enough to finish and that says something. It was a bit predictable, a little graphic at times but the characters were believable which really makes for a good read.

Loved the story. So well written and so captivating! A tear jerker for sure!

The title of the book drew my interest initially. I then read a summary and thought this was something different. I really looked forward to bedtime as this novel had me gripped from the start. I didn’t see the twist coming…..I liked that!I’ve now finished the book and thinking…….what will I do now. This story will stay with me for a very long time.
