Quality item, strong easy to fit not brittle
Used a few of these for outdoor electrics , very well made, easy to use and install, never found water in them!I've also midived 2 of them to make them into dawn to dusk and security lights using the Sibson PIR kit (the sensor goes in a hole easily drilled in the top of the box) makes a much better PIR than you can buy.

Ideal for connecting outdoor lighting!
I purchased these to use when upgrading my outdoor lighting. I currently have the cables coming out of the brickwork and straight to the LED floodlight, however decided that a more professional way forward was to terminate these into a 'Wiska' box and then connect the floodlight cable inside the box - this makes them easy to change if a light ever fails (which lets be honest, they do) - it keeps the integrity of the house wiring intact as once it is terminated inside the Wiska box it doesn't get touched again. The covers are easy to pop on and off with just a 90 degree turn of the plastic screws. The cable entry points are made waterproof using the supplied cable glands. Fitting one took about 30 minutes and has made the install look really professional :)
