USB Digital Microscope Compatible with Android Windows Linux Mac

Excellent value for money, and works on MacBook and Windows. I actually run virtual windows on my MacBook and it even works on the virtual machine. The software downloads fine, and you have the choice of how you wish to save the image. I wanted this to look at old jewellery (to help my elderly eyes!) and it is spot on for that. Image quality is good.The included stand is a bit wobbly, but I'm getting the more robust stand which will totally resolve this.I would note that the multi-USB plug seems a bit tight, so I am using it through an adapter/extender just in case I damage my machine's socket. It may be a fault of my machine and not the built-in plug, but always best to be safe.

Being a man over 60 and into electronics, swapping glasses all the time to see the tiny writing on components became a chore. searching the web I came across this microscope that seemed the answer as most of the time I would be sitting in front of a PC to use it. I wasn't sure what to expect for the very reasonable price, but wow was I surprised! it's perfect for what I want it for, easy to see the smallest details on a large screen and great for soldering small pins on a processor. Once you get the included stand set up it's good to go, the light is very bright and is adjustable, it's small size makes it easy to pack away in a very nice case when not needed which makes it very portable. Connectivity is good, the microscope will show up in Windows in the camera app so you can use it without installing further software. I'm very happy with the quality and it's made my hobby a lot easier. I would it.

I bought this to look at mineral samples but have since discovered the amazing world of insects plants and wild stuff!I only use this with a windows 10 laptop so I cannot comment on use with a smart phone etc. Used with a laptop this it is an amazing little camera, simply plug in the USB and use windows own "Camera" app installed as standard on all windows 10. Capture photos and video very easily. My young grand children just loved it and we spent a couple of hours exploring the garden for things to look at. Much better than a conventional microscope as we could all see the activity on the full screen together. We were able to see tiny flies in detail, the wing structure of a butterfly, the mites attacking my cherry tree and two minute bugs living on a small daisy flower, just amazing!I did download the camera app suggested and though it worked there was no advantage that I could see over the windows app.There are a few minor gripes, the zoom and snap buttons don't work at all with the windows app at least, so we have to use focus ring and the stand supplied is very very flimsy, focusing with the focus ring is a bit tricky and frustrating as without a stable base it moves all over the place. I found I could improve this by sticking the stand to a heavy base with duct tape.( I used some granite coasters) This helped a lot.In spite of the gripes I do think this microscope shows amazing views of the micro world and just one afternoon with the grandlings was well worth the cost of the microscope. It is a shame the stand is so poor as the difficulty in using the microscope with this will put off some people but persevere and you will find hours of fun.

I found it easy to set up on my Windows 10 laptop but found it difficult to steady on the stand supplied. The recommended stand looks more robust and fit for purpose but is bought separately and costs about the same as the microscope. The buttons on the sides of the body are activated through the app but I understood this to be for smart phone use as they did not respond when used through my laptop. I haven't pursued the mobile phone option so cant comment further. It's a reasonably priced item and could be a good educational toy for children to use.

This is a decent quality product, which is also reasonably priced. I think it is an inexpensive way to explore what a digital microscope can do for you. It will certainly serve that purpose well for me.It is supplied with the following:• a sturdy case• USB A to C adaptor• an adjustable stand• a printed instruction booklet• software on CD discThe USB A plug on the camera lead also contains an ingeniously concealed micro USB plug. There is also a brightness control in the lead, which controls how much light is projected onto the area that the microscope is scanning; more light does seem to enhance picture quality.The camera is well made and the focus control is easily adjustable. Unfortunately, the supplied stand lacks weight, which can cause the picture to jump about on screen when adjusting the focus slider.The size of print on the instruction booklet is on the small side, but I was still able to read it quite easily with my reading glasses. The the supplied software CD was a disappointment as each time I tried to install ‘Amcap’, the installation crashed. Downloading the software from the Cainda website resolved that problem.‘Amcap’ worked fine on Windows 10 for pictures, see below, but I found getting good focus on video captures to be difficult although a more stable stand would probably help with this issue. I also managed to get decent pictures and good video capture using the Windows 10 Camera App, also see below. It might be worth mentioning that the camera input setting will need to be changed to use the digital microscope with the Windows Camera App.I managed to get the microscope to work on my Android phone using ‘USB Camera-Connect Easycap’, but this app is video capture only.The first and second pictures were taken with ‘Amcap’. The first is a ⅛ watt resistor, which is 1.5mm diameter and 3mm long. The second is a piece of writing paper and clearly shows the fibres in the surface of the paper. The third picture and the video capture were taken with the Window App. The picture is the surface of the “Enter” key on my keyboard.

Phone camera zooms better and clearer

Easy plug and play setup but includes a driver CD too. Barrel has zoom function with an additional zoom function and snap shot on two buttons either side. Handheld it’s even clear in the first range of magnification. Great little gadget!

Highly recommend! I just plugged the USB into my Windows 11 PC, opened the Camera app, and it worked instantly. It’s an amazing tool for stamp collecting; the clarity and magnification are top-notch.

Windows'ta kamera olarak otomatik olarak tanınıyor, driver yüklemeye gerek yok. Android için play store'daki herhangi bir usb kamera uygulaması ile çalışıyor. Ben Samsung Note 10 kullanıyorum, herhangi bir otg kablosuna ihtiyaç duymadan doğrudan type c ile kullanabildim.
