Beekeeping Supplies Tool Kit, Bee Hive Smoker Suit for Beekeeper Necessary 10 Pcs

The Frame grabber was built backwards, I had to take it apart and reassemble it correctly for it to work. See Pictures.I thought my order was also missing the bee shovel, the queen excluder and the entrance feeder but I found them packed inside the smoker. Besides the frame grabber, which was an easy fix, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I'm new to beekeeping, so I can only give you my impressions so far. It was nice to be able to have everything in a one-stop-shop. Most of the tools are pretty basic, so it is hard to screw them up, and they seem to work just fine. So far, I've used the smoker and the hive tool. The smoker stayed lit nicely and produced a good amount of smoke. The hive tool does exactly what the hive tool needed to do.I did take one star off because the frame puller was assembled, for lack of a better word, "backwards." Instead of clamping down on a frame, squeezing the handles together caused it to expand. Not grade for pulling frames. I had to take the little metal springs out, disassemble it, switch everything around, and put the springs back in. It was a minor annoyance, but since (a) I bought this package in part for the puller, (b) I had to do this in the middle of a hive inspection, and (c) the springs now seem a bit weak because I have to basically straighten them out to reassemble them, I did take 1 star off.

So far so good. Have used smoker and hive tool this far. Performed as expected. Decent set for price. Honestly when next to higher prices ones at group session I can't see difference.

Its a great starter set but it won't last long. Tools are very cheap. However, to start out. Its a great kit.

I am a beekeeper getting this for my brother in law for his first beekeeping adventures and it seems that it is a great buy for the amount of quality things for a starter

Every thing was in package and better quality than I exspect Ed for price

This provided me with most of the tools I could want as a bee keeper. The only things missing from this set would be a bee brush and a queen clip.
