OtterBox STRADA SERIES Leather Wallet Case for iPhone 6/ iPhone 6s only - Retail Packaging - NEW MINIMALISM (BLACK/BLACK LEATHER)

When I bought my iPhone6, I had looked to Otterbox for a protective case because of Otterbox’s reputation. Considering the expensiveness of the case in comparison with other brands, I am left disappointed. I purchased this case last year. Overall, I had wanted a case that would:1) Protect my phone from falls2) Look classy in my office setting3) Last very longTo be fair, regarding point #1, the case—along with the Otterbox glass privacy screen protector that I had also purchased—has helped to keep my phone scratch-free and shatter-free with every fall. For this, I am truly grateful.However, my disappointment comes with points #2 and #3 (details below).Re: #2 - Initially, the case looked immaculately classy. However, perhaps by about 1 or 2 weeks after first use, I realised that the discreet, tiny textured pattern on the leather started to wear away to look smooth—particularly in areas of high usage, such as on the outside, by the bend in the cover flap where the phone volume controls are. I was then left with a case that had a mixture of textured look and smoothness—it was not pleasant to the eye, particularly considering what the case looked like when I took it out of its package for the first time. Perhaps, it would be better if Otterbox just left the leather smooth instead of adding a texture to it that would eventually wear away. In addition, on the inside of the cover flap, by the card holder, the lining material is now unsticking to reveal the previously hidden construction of the case below. I am very disappointed considering the amount of money that I spent.Re: #3 – One of the reasons why I opted to purchase this case from Otterbox was because, due to good reputation and supposed quality of materials used, I did not expect to have to worry, case-wise, for a long time to come after I purchased this from Otterbox. Yet, here I am, about 1 year after purchase with, in addition to what I have already mentioned above, the rubber-like material at the bottom of the case (by the speakers, headphone jack etc) starting to crack and fall apart. I tried sticking it with Crazy Glue— it helped for about 1 day but then unstuck. I am dreading further potential cracking and falling away of the rubber that will just leave my phone looking untidy and unsightly.I am sorry, Otterbox, but I am not sure that I can truly recommend this product to others.

I absolutely love this case. It's nice and sleek and protects my phone when dropped and just keeps it nice and clean. I've dropped it a couple of times with no damage to my phone nor to the case! I had a similar case (not otter box though) that was double the price of this and when I dropped my phone while sitting on the couch, the phone literally came out of the case and a small piece popped off of the case. The case quickly downhill from there--the really bad thing is that it was only a few weeks old. It continued to crack and barely held my phone. This case is so much better and I love that it hugs/grips my phone so nice and keeps it slim, while providing excellent protection. I do have to get used to taking photos with the case open though. I will take a little getting used to, but it's definitely worth getting used to. I highly recommend this case.

I wanted to give this case more stars, maybe 4, but I hate how it's nearly impossible to get my iPhone 6s out of the case. I have to wonder if the case is really as compatible with the slightly thicker 6s as they claim, as compared to the 6 it was made for. I tried it with my friend's 6, and it was snug, but I didn't have to fight as much to remove the case as I did with the 6s. It makes me worry that this could actually damage my phone over time.Update: this really is a nice case overall. I just hope it will eventually "give" a bit more so that I can change cases out a little more easily. It's very protective yet a lot thinner than other Otterboxes I've had. Changing my rating to 4 stars.

Whenever I get a phone, the first thing I do is buy an Otterbox Commuter case, but when I saw the STRADA case, I knew that I had to have it. The leather feels great in the hand and looks beautiful. The folio cover stays in place with the magnetic clasp which has the perfect strength to it (strong enough to keep closed and stay closed if accidentally dropped yet easy to open). The only bad thing about the case is that it can be a bit difficult to get your phone in and out of this case. It's a tight fit, which is good to keep the phone in place, but bad if you want to switch your case often. If you're looking for a sophisticated case that compliments the iPhone 6s, I definitely recommend this case!PROS: beautiful, sophisticated looking case. real leather. magnetic clasp. protectiveCONS: difficult to get phone in/out of case (tight fit)

top-tier brand. high quality leather material. replace my old Lifeproof case with this Otterbox. Black is a business color working well in most office situation. Very light weight and thin. Can fit in the pocket very comfortable. it's truly pocket-friendly item. also Not slippery at all while holding it. the inner card slot is a bonus. but it's too tight space for credit card. so i just put my business card in that slot for two purposes.1) give my business card to people when i only have phone with me; 2) if my phone got lost, people will see the owner contact on the business card and help me to find it back. Very good purchase and hope it can last longer before i upgrade my iphone.

I have only had this case for a few days and It is great. It protects your phone without being bulky. I wasn't sure about the flap but actually like it as it helps to protect screen. Leather is good looking and buttons function flawlessly. I was also able to add a tempered glass screen protector. I would recommend this case and plan to edit this review if that changes. So far, so good.BTW, I ordered mine through warehouse deals. It said it was damaged slightly cosmetically but didn't appear to be. I wasn't worried about that too much as it is a phone case and will get scuffed. I just wanted to add that in case someone was looking to save a bit of money and still get a great product.

La funda siento OtterBox protege de maravilla el celular y el estilo de pierl resulta muy elegante, el único incoveniente es cuando se pretende tomar fotos, creo que sacaron una nueva versión que no tiene la tapa frontal y por ende no tiene el tarjetero, pero si como yo no tomas muchas fotos es muy buena compra.

El producto es de una excelente calidad por su precio accesible. Ajustó perfectamente y es bastante sólido. Comparado con otros modelos de diferentes marcas que compré previamente, me ha dejado muy satisfecho

Quedé bastante satisfecho con este producto. Su diseño es perfecto para proyectar una imagen ejecutiva. Un par de veces se me ha caido y comprobé que el Iphone está muy bien protegido.Volveré a comprarlo.

I bought this case because I saw my friend's (hers was black and grey) and it looked great! I am pleased with brown too. The slot inside for credit cards or business cards is a bit small, and the magnetic closure is not as strong as I'd like - but still works fine. I still have my clear jelly case, but I much prefer the way this feels in my hand. The phone controls work fine through the leather, and you can use it as a phone with the cover opened or closed.
