Gluten Free Cream of Mushroom Soup Mix by Vivian's Live Again- Dairy Free Single Packet

My husband recently had to cut all dairy from his diet, and it really has improved his health dramatically overall. But many of my best recipes contain cream of mushroom soup, and we both missed them! I was thankful to find this mix, but I was sure it wouldn't be as good. Well, not only is it just as good, I'd say it's even better! It has that earthy, mushroomy flavor that you only get with the canned soup if you add extra mushrooms. I caught myself the other night just putting a couple of tablespoons of this mix into a recipe that didn't even call for mushroom soup, and it made the whole dish richer and tastier!

It’s easy to prepare and I use it mostly for casseroles like green bean and potato casserole. Tastes yummy, and it’s dairy free!

I’m gluten intolerant and my wife is lactose intolerant, and this makes a nice creamy soup base. I add extra mushrooms.

My son is lactose intolerance. This product tastes good and I can make different casseroles with it. So pleased. No one could tell the difference from the Campbell mushroom soup! Win win

I would use more liquid than the 1and 1/4 cups it said to use for cooking. Other than that it's the best I have found so far.

Unfortunately I got too many packets and wasted $27. It’s not what I wanted . If you are looking for a soup? Maybe? It can work. But it’s not a good replacement for casseroles or cooking. Not the same taste or look

I got this to make gluten free/dairy free green bean casserole. I have to admit, I was skeptical. However, it turned out incredibly well (used chicken broth as base) even better than the regular version! It cooks up amazingly well and can be used easily for any cream of mushroom soup recipe. Flavor is great and the soup is robust.

I bought this to use as a substitute in an old recipe, and it worked great! A little more expensive, but a healthier option than the regular canned choice out there!
