BAQI 2pcs MR-9 Battery Adapters for Old Version Film Camera Exposure Meter MR9 PX625 PX13

Back in the day 1950’s through to 1080’s many cameras and small electronic items like calculators etc; used a Mercury Battery know as a PX625 or similar designation which were about 1.35Volts. then they were discontinued and for some years there as not an alternative. Then people started to produce these adaptors which allowed a LR44 1.5v silver oxide battery to be used as a replacement. Whilst having a recent sortout of my unused cameras, among which was a Olympus OM 1 and a Pentax Spotmatic camera both used the old PX625, these two adaptors provided the answer to see if they still worked. The adaptors are of reasonable machined standard, with the LR44 fitting perfectly into the adaptor, likewise the adaptors fitted into the cameras as they should. So overall I was pleased with them as I have now have two useable cameras.

Battery fit in it, it fit in the camera and the camera turned on, tried it in a couple of different ones, canon QL17 and another Yashica range finder.

These adaptors enable you to fit a G10/LR44 1.5v silver oxide battery to a camera that takes a PX625 battery cell. Typically, this will be a classic camera or lightmeter made from 1965-75, when PX625 1.35v mercury cells were common. These cells are no longer made and so this adaptor allows you to fit a modern battery.

Did the job well.

Well made and battery perfect fit in them. Allows the use of modern batteries in vintage cameras to replace the Mercury battery used in the 1970s
