Q: What length are the pieces on average?

Tiny! 5-12cm. Most are closer to 5 than to 12.

Q: Is this "real" drift wood as i normally get it from the beach so i will know if not! Dont want to waste my time having to send it back if its not!

As I do not live by the sea to collect driftwood am not sure what you mean by 'normal' driftwood. I think its very attractive and have no problems at all with the description, in fact have purchased a second lot. Have strung it up outside on my patio and it looks lovely, wanted it particulary for having holes. Hope this helps as I am aware that all our expecations are different. Regards. Fran J
