I've been using this wash down pump for my boat for about a year. I love that you can plug it into any DC plug since AC power is usually not available on the water unless you have a generator. It does everything it's supposed to do but there are two things that are so-so. The power cord could be longer so you can move the base unit to different parts of the boat during your wash down. I also wish it had a little bit more pressure but I understand it may be limited by the amount of power it can draw using the DC socket. Otherwise, it's been a great little pump!

Never used yet but looks nice

This is a nice product and serves its intended purpose — using it on a boat that doesn’t have immediate water access at the slip. The pump draws water from the lake or from a bucket, and will therefore work as a powered rinse and as a cleaner/wash. Technical PSI aside, my sense is that the output is about equal to that of a garden hose with a nozzle adjusted to a tight stream. It doesn’t have the power of the electric power washer I use around the garage (with hose hookup, which is also possible with the TRAC pump, although with no noticeable increase in spray pressure).I’ve used the pump on the boat three or four times. On the second use, the power plug broke apart (cigarette lighter plug) and had to be replaced. The seller replaced it with a model that is probably a bit stronger than the one that comes with the TRAC pump. Best to be aware that the OEM plug needs to be treated a little gently, and probably will have to be replaced at some point. It’s a type with an integral fuse, available at Marine stores and perhaps auto stores.Other than the plug problem, no other issues. The pump does the job I wanted it for.

Compact and fit's in one of the storage compartments nicely. Easy to use and just what we needed.I'd rate it 5 stars if it had a little more pressure/power, but we're not truly disappointed because we knew from the description what the pressure would be, and quite frankly it works well.We would absolutely recommend it.

I bought this for my sisters birthday, and was a bit skeptical , as I read a lot of reviews on many of the same items by different makers. This is the one I chose and I am glad cause it works wonderful for her on her boat to clean it up after a day out scalloping and fishing. Before they used togo to the marina and use the hose there to clean up, but not anymore, so much easier, and it WORKS!!! It was a great birthday present for her. Thank you

Works great. Compact enough to store easily

I use it on my boat. I attach the clamps on my battery. I use it to hose down my boat from sand, clay etc. It is NOT a pressure washer. It has pressure like a weak garden hose. It works very well for my application.

Hard to hook up outlet hose with small hole on side. Had to cut out to make easier.

This pump works well. Nice and light. Decent pressure on the pump. Is a little hard to connect some of the fittings due to location. Unit feels a bit “flimsy” so worry about long term durability but not problems during first season of use.
