I've never used a pastry cutter before, but I LOVE this one. I made 9 batches of pie crust and this was perfect, held up great and fit perfectly in my hand. The cookie cutters are held together with a durable clip, making it easy to keep in one place and the are nice and thick. Definitely a set worth the money!

The pastry blender is exceptionally sturdy and can easily handle the firmest 37° butter or lard taken directly from the fridge.Handle has a comfortable grip even for a man's hand and generous clearance to the cutting edge.Tines are 1 mm thick, so they shouldn't distort as a flimsy wire blender might do. They are a uniform ½ inch apart, thus producing consistent chunks of fat.The five circular progressively sized cutters are appropriate for doughnut holes, kolachi, perogies, small and large biscuits, etc. Wire handles provide a good touch in keeping your hands out of the dough when applying even downward cutting pressure.Standard dishwashing cycle is all that is needed for cleanup.The keyring keeper seems expendable because the cutters nestle when stored.Nice tools for the cook who wants to improve their skill level.

I love the variety of sizes for biscuits. The pastry cutter was also ideal.

Sunday morning breakfast, just used them to make up a batch of biscuits. Wiped them off and stuck them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. Great!

For the price I wasn't expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised with the level of quality of this set. I am a pastry arts student and these are perfect for what I use them for.
