Hawaiian Laser Engraved Wood Honu Turtle Bookmark from Hawaii

It’s a nice looking piece but it is made in china according to the label not Hawaii. Also I would like to know what type of wood it is.

This Bookmark is beautiful!!It's it has a glaze cote on it so it can't be ruined by getting it wet. The turtle and the 'Hawaii' are so pretty and look just like the picture. You can clearly see and feel the grooves of the wood, which is very nice.I tend to use the end of it as a sort of pointer, to read along.The tassel on it is leather? I think so... Well, the tassel is very thick and so it doesn't "fall" as much, it sorta just flops. I have to keep tightening the tassel, because it comes loose all the time.It's a VERY thick bookmark so I don't really feel comfortable, pushing it up close to the binding when I close it. This bookmark is also a bit smaller than I thought it would be, and the width of it is a bit smaller than it looks in the picture.But, even so, this is by far my favorite bookmark!

I love this bookmark. Reminds me of our many trips to Maui. I should have bought one when I was there but glad to find it here. The wood is thick enough to be durable but not too thick. You'll love it

I was skeptical as to the thickness but it is perfect. Got this for a friend for her birthday and she is going to love how smooth and cool looking this is. Definitely going to buy more!
