This item was originally purchased in late November 2020. It broke after just over a month. I don't even regularly drive the vehicle or use the console that much! For 10 bucks, I ordered another one (early January 2021), but if the next one breaks as fast, I will request a refund.Edit:This time (2nd January purchase) it broke before we could even get it installed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The armrest lid on my Acura is spring-loaded, so after latch broke I had to put weight 2-3 lbs to prevent lit from opening- it makes a ride inconvenient and couple times after braking weight slid forward and shifted gear from Drive to Neutral. So I was very happy to install new latch and continue trip without any surprises.

Acura wanted to charge me $210 to fix the console. I installed this piece in 3 minutes and it's working great. Even if it breaks again, it's still affordable enough for me to fix on my own.

Exactly what I ordered! Fast delivery! If you have a Acura with this part it’s worth buying a extra one now. Original design is bad and it’s going to break. This replacement part was just what I needed. I already had the spring so I saved some money and purchased this part. Spring not included.

This latch was inexpensive and relatively easy to install. I got instructions on installation from You Tube. It took me a couple of tries before it snapped into place. So far so good!

Good fit and easy installation. Doesn’t come with the spring, Make sure you save the original spring.

This thing was a console saver. Extremely easy to put in all you have to do is remember to keep the spring from the old set because this doesn't come with a spring. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to replace a broken latch. Great price and fast shipping.

Watched a couple of YouTube videos to repair the broken latch on my RDX. Fairly easy to install. Still working!

So delighted to have made this purchase for my car. My grandson accidentally fell across the arm rest and broke the latch. The car dealership wanted $180 for repair. I ordered this latch through Amazon . My husband installed it in a few minutes and it works perfectly. It is very sturdy …just as good as the original on my 8 year old car! Great purchase.

Left this install until now (out of return window). Strange thing is, it doesn't actually hold the arm rest closed. The tooth that grabs onto the dash portion doesn't actually extend far enough for it to latch on. Even when pressing down on the handle lever and closing, you can easily see that it does not go over the lip on the lower part to hold itself tight. Definitely wrong sizing/dimensions for a 14 rdx.
