Gaming darts best for indoor use at low FPS
These are gaming darts, not hunting darts. I think a few buyers were upset about this, but the gun these were made for (Marksman repeater pistol) was never designed for anything other than target shooting. I think it had less than 300 fps back in the day. The darts have a shoulder on them to prevent overpenetration. If you are using these for anything other than a dartboard in an indoor environment, consider you will probably have to paint them or coat them in a way to increase their diameter, to allow them to take better advantage of the pressure in a higher FPS airgun. You still shouldnt really hunt with them, because of the penetration barrier. But if you like seeing things running around your yard with darts sticking out of them, you probably have other concerns that need to be addressed and you're not going to listen to me, telling you not to do it. The other thing I can say is using them in anything rated much past 300 fps is going to reduce their service life, even if youre just shooting the side of your shed from a few yards away. They arent designed for high FPS impacts, and will eventually loose their "reusable" status. I shot mine out of the gun pictured in the ad, (Umarex Ruger) which has a FPS rating not incredibly greater than than the original Marksman repeater. No, it will not "ruin your rifling". I'm sure some darts may, but these wont. Fwiw, I shot a leather workboot from 12" away. It went all the way through, until it was stopped by the shoulder. So, yes, it's for gaming, but not game. And, it's not a toy.

Easy to see and accurate.
I made a wooden target board for practice with my pellet gun and they are great because they stick well but are easy to remove.

Overall GOOD 👍
Sizing is a tad small.. works really well despite that though, but if you want/need tighter fit I'd suggest a sabot like tape or piece of shopping bag... However....if you're using these for hunting like I am.. just don't clean them the "varmint" leftovers work great for the sabot I was talking about and doesn't affect the accuracy!! Overall well worth it.

Poor fit
Do not buy, they will fall out of the barrel and if you tilt it back to prevent this it will fall into your piston chamber get stuck and break your BB gun!

Should be 3.5 Stars
I've used the same two about fifty times each into cardboard about 5 yards away and they are holding up. The plastic tail came off one after being buried in the target, but it popped right back on the metal front and has held up well since. After some use I learned that about 1" of 1/2" wide PTFE Thread Seal (Teflon) tape wrapped around the metal portion thickens the 4mm diameter enough that they fly out of the barrel in a straighter line - improving accuracy. I've tried different tapes, except metal ductwork tape as suggested by some, and they don't last. A better solution would be preferable, like increasing the diameter a bit at the factory, and maybe someone has one... I'm not an expert, but have read that airguns need a bit of resistance when pushing air through the barrel, hence cautions against dry firing. Apparently it can cause premature failures/damage to the pneumatics. I'm somewhat satisfied with the darts, but the other type with 'feathers' are a better fit in my .177 airgun barrels. The darts are fun and cost less than others. Oh yeah, I've learned to clear the firing line else bouncers can get lost for a time.

Can't kill them (if you're reasonable)
Shoot them regularly at a cork board out of a 160-180fps pistol (super accurate like hitting a nickel at 10 yards off hand), and tried shooting out of a 1100 fps rifled barrel... Thought they'd blow up or disintegrate upon impact. At first they did when I shot them into a particle board table. Then I shot them into a balled up shop rag, and they just bury into the fabric. They are nowhere near as accurate out of the rifle as the handgun. At 15 yards I was getting on average a 6" group. Still a silly way to have cheap fun and a great way to teach your older kids about handgun marksmanship while competing (literally shooting darts).

i finally got my gun back, and tried the darts. they fly fine but are smaller than a .177 cal and fall out. wish i had bought not so early, i could have returned then.

The delivery went well (glad I got to this package before the crakie in the building did). Packaging the bolts came in was nothing out of the ordinary..other than not being bent, folded,or half open, BIG PLUS. So to those whom are reading comments in order to make an enlightened guess on whether or not to make the purchase. If I may take up a few lines of readings worth of your time today?. Thank you. The bolts have potential and for the first time I have ever seen such an item on Amazon since before 2020 they certainly caught my attention...ohhhh i read reviews but I still purchased anyway. The skinny, stiff, excessively long, and doesn't aide in the flight of the bolt what so ever fletching, weighs more than the alloy metal tip/head/spear/dart/pointy thingy so at distance (less than 3.5 meters/ >15 feet when fired from (insert your choice of .177 name here) enters the target sideways and not close enough to consider it as a potential kill by proxy shot. In walks creativity, innovation, trial an error. I started by trying to "open" the plastic feather by making cuts down the vert axis..fail. Next I cut half of the fletching off horizontally with scissors and no regards to being square or straight..plus cut the fletch on its vertical axis...this did a far better job of stabilizing the bolt in flight and it managed to pass straight through a speaker shipping box styrofoam protector/holder and into the drywall in my storage room for a total distance of 13 ish feet. That bolt was a nasty to get out of the drywall...oh I had also roll filed the tip so to get a finer pin point [9

I bought these thinking they would work as well as the ones i got when I was a kid. Nope. They fall right out of the barrel. Useless.
