ALLIMITY CT-8541 RC42150P 30101774 Remote Control Replaced for Toshiba UHD HD Ready WLAN TV with Freeview Netflix Buttons

The media could not be loaded.  The physical quality of this remote is almost identical to the genuine Toshiba CT8541, barring a few cosmetic differences. Tested on my bedroom TV, If you have slow responding /laggy Toshiba TV input then it's almost 100% going to be the official remote, it's known to have issues on a wide range of compatible TVs. See from the side by side comparison in my video (both remotes using new Energiser batteries). Forgive the loud clicking of the remotes on my video, it's not actually that loud, my microphone was set to full.

I had been so frustrated by the up, down, left and right arrows on the original Toshiba remote. You press and nothing happens, then you press again and it goes two steps. I had thought about buying a new genuine Toshiba remote and then I read the reviews on here and it seemed that other peoples Toshiba remote did the same thing. So I thought that there was little point in buying another Toshiba remote. So I bought this one because other reviews said that it worked well. I am very pleased that I did. The buttons and arrows work just as you would wish. The remote looks identical to the Toshiba one other than the LED at the front end is visible. So if you are fed up with the buttons and arrows on your Toshiba remote I suggest trying this one. It Works Fine.

I concur with the other reviewers - I had similar problems with the original Toshiba remote as the others describe... the arrow buttons in particular needing multiple presses, or firmer presses to get them to do anything, often resulting in accidentally hitting neighbouring buttons.Like other reviewers I regret not getting it dealt with earlier under guarantee even though it's been like that since day one.This Allimity remote has very much improved things. I can now step up/down the channels in the guide at a faster speed... sure, the TV itself is a little slow, but at least I'm not now battling a slow TV *and* pathetic remote. You can be more confident your button press likely worked, so no need to keep re-pressing just in case.And it is also less temperamental which direction you point it compared to the original. I guess that probably means the it's giving out a brighter (IR) beam so the batteries will probably go flat sooner. But I use rechargeables so that suits me fine.

Delivered today and it works perfectly!The original remote control was so slow, the buttons were hard to press and it was a frustrating experience using the TV, so much so we considered getting a new one.But then I wondered if it was the remote as I'd seen similar problems from other people.So I just saved a load of money on a new TV!Sounds like a really silly problem to have but the new remote has made using the TV so much better.

I bought this for my Toshiba TV, i will admit i was skeptical as its the 'Allimity' brand and not Toshiba but i will state that it in fact identical to the Toshiba Original and works perfectly!! Excellent all round 😊

This remote works better than the TV manufacturers original.
