This is a gift for my great grandson, I am sure he will get so much fun playing with it, and be very pleased with it.

I grew them myself and waited 4 days, but then I went on holiday that lasted 10 days. Before I left, they seemed to be growing quite well, although they were quite short. When I got back I took them out of the tub and they all started cracking off the base layer. Also the chemical/ liquid has stained my desk and I can not get it out, so I would recommend putting it on a towel and such materials when you take them out. Overall, my experience was good, but again, I was disappointed that they all cracked away when I took them out.

I have waited to write a review to see for myself if it works. After reading some of the reviews I was worried it wouldn't work and I'd have a disappointment 6 year old. It's been a week today so here is proof it works well. It's easy enough to do, looking forward to the next one.

Kids couldn't wait to get started but all a bit underwhelmed by final result.

I bought two of these for my daughters for Christmas, and they were so excited to use them. We set it all up and got the hedgehogs soaking in the solution to grow the crystal spikes. We checked one of them after 5 days as it suggested, and though it had grown some crystals, upon removing the hedgehog from the solution the crystals just slid straight off the back of the hedgehog so that it was naked once again. We put it back in the solution and re checked another 5 days later in the hope the solution has bonded with the back piece that comes with it for growing and again the crystals fell right off. I have two very unhappy girls who are disappointed. I was hoping this could make science a bit fun for them but now they’re just not interested. Very disappointed, and a useless product. Do not buy.

I got this as a present for my granddaughter age 6.Definitely an adult is needed as very hot water is needed but she was absolutely thrilled

A very cute kit, but please do listen to the negative reviews.The crystals are very quick and easy to grow (though the crystals are very short - not like the pictures on the advert), but they are extremely fragile when completed. Parts break off when you're trying to remove and dry them from the pot, and with 2 of our 4 hedgehogs, the whole crystal seed did slide off the hedgehog base and the whole crystal growth crumbled off the crystal seed.Overall, definitely not worth the money you pay.

This seem really good , It doesn’t grown over night so gonna have the patience.But this give my child something to look forward too ever morning.
