The material and ease of adjusting is great.The seat sitting on the end of the spindle is not square and allows the seating to shift in different angles instead of being secure. Can be uncomfortable trying to continually adjust position.

Perfect for drums and playing guitar. It is easy to change height. Very well made and she loves the blue color. The price was excellent.

Sturdy and comfortable just wish it went a little bit higher.

I have had other thrones that were 3 times the cost. This is close to the quality for a fraction of the price. I haven’t had any problems with it and I weigh about 225. Nice cushioning!

The stand quality seems good but the seat is wobbly and uncomfortably hard. If the seat fit the mount and wasn't so hard it could be a decent throne.Unless these issues are corrected I would not recommend.

Good for the price

So far so good. The chair is very stable and sturdy.

So it all seemed good when I purchased the throne, however during the second time playing, it literally fell apart under me. Fortunately, I tilted off to the side before getting the Vlad the Impaler treatment. You're definitely getting what you pay for, and the description should not include the word 'adults.' The seat isn't bad quality, just a bit on the small side, and obviously the hardware does not hold up. Very disappointing, and a bit dangerous at that. I sure miss the days of quality construction.Original review:For $70, this is a good throne. The base is sturdy with screw height adjustment and good support, and the collar stop at the base is riveted (vs. just flanged, which is destined to fail over time,) and if it does snap it can be easily be replaced with a bolt. The seat itself is roughly 12" diameter x 3.5" height with pretty good padding, mounted on a 1/2" wood base. Other thrones have thinner wood under the seat, making them more susceptible to breaking over time.I do wish the seat cushion itself was thicker, but it's fine if you're under 200 lbs., which I'm not. I just received it and haven't used it behind the drums yet, but it seems great for $70.
