Shurtape101652 CP-631 Colored Masking Tape: 3/4" x 60 yd, Purple

This product has better adhesion than ordinary masking tape and is just as easy to tear and apply, so no scissors needed. I needed a colored tape to identify my boxes during a move, but found many more uses for it. I used it to tie electrical cords and will use it like painters tape since it comes off cleanly. I would buy it again if I ever run out.

Firstly, this is not Shurtape brand, which I was disappointed about because there can be a really big difference in quality across tape brands and I had paid extra for that. But more importantly, it's not even masking tape -- it's more like electrical tape: stretchy plastic (vinyl, maybe), only mildly sticky, can't be torn by hand. It claims to be TapeLogic brand, though I don't see anything like it in their product catalog (their electrical tape comes on the smaller rolls, as is normal, whereas this is on a masking tape sized roll) so who even knows.
