Safety 1st Cradle Cap Brush and Comb , White/Blue

This worked really well for us. My two month old started getting the traditional flaky cradle cap scalp. I’ve used this brush twice so far. In the bath I use the rubber side to rub in the shampoo and help loosen the flakes. It’s soft enough that it doesn’t hurt but still hard enough to loosen the flakes up. The comb is what really helps get the flakes off. In just two uses so far, I have noticed a big reduction in her flakes and scalp shedding. The size of the brush makes it easy to hold. I think in just a few more uses her cradle cap should be all gone. See before and after pics!

Excellent brush for getting rid of cradle cap! Use any sort of soap or gel on the soft bristle side and scrape it off with the finer comb. Love the way I can place my fingers so that it’s easier to use. Super effective and satisfying to see the scales come off.

My now 2 1/2 year old daughter had cradle cap up until she was about 2 years old when we soaked her head in coconut oil and cleared it all off with a fine-toothed comb in one sitting. The hair on top of her head (where the cradle cap mostly was) was noticeably thinner than the rest of her hair & I was afraid it was never going to go away. Within a month of getting her scalp clear, I noticed her hair filling in. Once I saw the difference, I felt bad that I didn't try to do this process earlier. I just kept using the Mustela shampoo, hoping it would go away. Now a few months later, my second daughter is here (3 months old) and her cradle cap looks nearly identical to my first's when she was this age. I knew I couldn't use the same fine-toothed comb (I bought it at a beauty supply shop for myself and it's not very soft) on her delicate scalp. While Googling remedies, I came across this brush. For the price, I figured it was worth a shot. It just arrived today and I had to try it out immediately. I just ran the comb through her dry hair and was amazed at how much came off. I soaked her hair in about 1 tsp. of baby oil gel (all I had) for about 15 minutes then started using the nubby blue bristles in circular motions as described in the directions. She loved it and started cooing so it definitely didn't hurt her. Then I gently combed her hair backwards, to the sides and forwards about 2-3 times then I'd have to wipe off the comb because it would be full of scales. I just repeated that process until her scalp was clear. On stubborn patches, I'd do a few more circular brushes with the blue side. I figured I'd stop once she got fussy, but it didn't bother her at all. In under 20 minutes, her cradle cap is 99% gone. I am absolutely amazed! I wish I had known about this product when my oldest was a baby. My youngest has an average amount of hair for a 3 month old and this was the perfect size and softness for her. I don't think this would've worked on my toddler because of the amount of hair she has.

It does okay. Not as good as baby Frida.

Love this brush/comb combo. Fits in your hand perfectly and easy to use. Used with baby oil and the cradle cap lifted right up. Rinsed with Dawn powerwash and warm water and let air dry. The soft but firm brush part really loosened up the gunk. Must have for nursery!!

My 3 month old suffered from cradle cap so purchased this item to help, It got the job done. However the comb didn’t slide as smoothly and did tend to pull very little of her thin hair out. She was a little fussy maybe cause I had to apply the slightest bit of pressure to get it to start working.(done during bath while hair was damp and soapy) I have used the Frida baby one and loved how that one was slightly curved and was easy to maneuver on baby’s head. It also didn’t require to put and pressure it was just a smooth glide through. But this brush got the job done and was cheap. If your willing to pay a bit more just get the Frida baby one.

I was honestly surprised at how well this cradle cap comb worked. My baby had some stubborn flakes that just wouldn’t go away no matter how gently I tried to scrub during bath time. This comb made a huge difference after just one use! The soft, flexible bristles are gentle on my baby’s scalp but still super effective at loosening and removing flakes without causing any irritation. It's easy to hold, easy to clean, and works great when paired with a little baby oil or shampoo. Definitely one of those small but essential tools every parent should have in their baby care kit

My 4 month old grand daughter has really bad cradle cap and it’s preventing her hair from growing so I decided to try this comb out and get rid of it once she for all! As soon as it was delivered I started to lightly brush her scalp and the cradle cap started to lift off.... of course please do after you’ve bathed baby and scalp is softer... I tried it dry and although did work I didn’t want to hurt her... once her scalp was soft and looser from water it was much easier!!! I managed to brush it 4 separate times and finally got it all off!!!!!! I did it in session so I wouldn’t aggravate her head.... it did not seem like she was bothered. Her head was not red afterwards from me brushing it. The edges were not sharp and the brush did not harm her throughout the week long process. The blue side of the brush was not helpful in any way in my opinion but it may work out for you!!! I only found the comb side to be helpful. The blue side is not soft, it’s firm rubber points that I assume help loosen before combing? I just went straight for the comb side and it worked pretty quick! .. I do recommend if you’re wanting to get rid of cradle cap buy this comb!!

No sabia que existía este tipo de peine, mi bebe tenía mucha costra láctea a pesar de bañarla diariamente. El cepillo es muy suave, con el se le da un masaje y el peine se utiliza para quitar los residuos, en 3 baños se le quitó toda. Se los recomiendo.

I don’t really leave reviews here on Amazon but I gotta say this for all the troubled mothers out there especially for first-time moms like me. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY EFFECTIVE FOR CRADLES CAP! I’ve used it once on my baby and I’ve already seen the result. Good purchase! Worth the money! GET IT!

Buy this to avoid scratching babies head. Fantastic product. 80% Of cradle cap when on my first setting. I applied coconut oil and massaged using the brush. Then used the comb to take away the excess. Bit pricey but i mean it works! Im happy!
