I purchased this item to pump out a boats fuel tanks that was being laid up for repairs.I was a little skeptical at first having read the previour reviews of non-priming and hose joints failing etc, but decided to take a risk.The pump arrived promptly in good order and I was pleased to see that the pressure hose was of the crimped fitting variety with O ring joints.We set the pump up on the jetty side with the suction hose going straight into the tank, and the outflow being discharged approximately 30 meters away by a connected lay flat hose.The pump was powered by a 5kVa generator which coped easily/On starting the pump it primed straightaway with no additional help and discharged nearly 1000 litres in just under half an hour, quite acceptable given the lift and distance.Overall very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this product as received.

Great product for price only downside pump noisy

The pump was delivered on the 15th April and was very efficiently delivered by the team, thank you ! The product has a design fault on it, we have used it twice and twice the metal fuel spout assembly has sprayed out diesel fuel, soaking the user.All the jubilee clips were replaced, as the provided clips were useless and were not tightening the pipe but the unit is still spraying the user with diesel fuel, which has ruined clothing and sprayed diesel everywhere.Not impressed, obviously not tested before being sent out by the manufacturer.

i bought this to fill a 18 ton excavator, if you turn on the pump with the nozzle closed it will leak and can blow the pipe and they will be alot of diesel spilt. we need 2 people to fill the machine one at the machine tank and one by the pump switch, you can not turn off this pump by the nozzle without serious fuel loss/ leaks. this could be dangerous in the wrong hands

This is described as a self primer, but it needs to be manually primed to start, and then everytime the supply is empty. In my opinion this is misleading, it should be made clear in the advert, manually priming is messy, and not always manageable unless you have a stock of the same liquid and a way to pour it into the intake pipe, so in fact it’s no better than the far cheaper pumps on sale here, that don’t say self prime.

Bought in April 2022 and has stopped working and I can't get it returned due to no reply from Amazon or manufacturer

Dose not have a calibrated meter clips are rubbish so pipe pops of and covers u in fuel don't buy
