Q: What type of foundation is required?

You will need a firm base. Box springs or a sold bottom bed frame. We tried to put ours on a frame with just slats and it didn’t work. We had to use box springs. We’ve used the mattress about 6 months and are very happy with it.

Q: How springy is this 10" twin? My daughter retested a mattress she can jump and bounce on instead of her foam mattress..

It's not real springy but not too firm. However, I absolutely love the mattress for the price. It has not disappointed me.

Yes it can and for the price it's a quality and very comfortable mattress.

Q: Is there wire in the edges of the mattress that are teal? My grandma needs that as extra support so she doesn’t feel like she is sliding off the bed.

No, I didn’t feel any wires. I think that’s just the edging for the pillow-top that’s part of the mattress. With memory foam underneath the pillow-top, you should sink ever so slightly as the foam conforms to your shape.
