Hard to find switch
Arrived quickly and worked perfectly

Nice replacement socket
Good fit replacing my work stand lamp socket. Fit well and seems sturdy. Switch works well but I would limit incandescent wattage to 60 watts or less. Heat of a higher wattage would cook the socket.Made in Mexico and seems very solid, switch has a solid feel when it clicks through rotation.

Socket fixed old desk lamp.
Used this socket to repair dad's old Hi-Intensity desk lamp. Removed old seriously fried socket and replaced with this one, easy to install, almost made to fit. Thanks.

Inexpensive and easier to turn on and off then other versions
Hard to find item and there are very few options in the market. At this price it makes the repair if cheap imported lamps affordable and worthwhile. Not sure how these will fare in the long run as the spindle that goes to the knob is fairly thin and easy to flex. That said, it is probably why these are remarkably easy to turn off and on--much easier than any I have used. And as an old man with hands going weak, that's a good thing! The internals are quite different than the one bit replaced and I'm hopeful that means they will be less prine to becoming so stiff that they can't be used, due to oxidation if the brass parts. Glad Amazon and the vendor are offering these. I broke one due to my own clumsiness with a screwdriver when loosening the connection screws. Due to the lamp being very deep I had to remove the screws completely to be able to attach the wiring, which is the problem. The screws are installed to discourage complete removal, which is a good thing normally. If you do have to remove the connection screws completely in your own install, be careful not to strip the threads in the aluminum post when trying to rescrew.

Good replacement unit
It was easy to replace the old intermittent switch / bulb holder in a floor lamp with this new one. Needed to unscrew the plastic knob to fit the shaft through the hole, then screw it back on. Fits and works well.

Twist light switch replacement
This light switch was just as advertized, fit my need & installed with ease, the old switch stopped working & I couldn't fine a replacement in any local stores THANK you Amazon FARMER JOHN
