This is not a 48 Volt contactor. It is a 36 Volt. The part number is correct, and the amp rating is correct. However, it plainly says on the side of the actual contactor that it is 36 Volt. Seems well made though.

China junk, strips out easily

Priced right, great product. Some people (above) who purchase these simply don't do the necessary homework and run to give a poor review. This IS the correct part. However, the first one I ordered came with two capacitors (one for 36v and one for 48v). Because of some confusion that had created for those not bothering to see how these things work, it appears my 2nd one ordered has been labeled "48v" without the extra capacitor for 36v. I just want to thank the above reviewer for this. Now I have to buy a separate capacitor for my current 36v system. I plan on going 48v eventually but for now, I'm just preparing for it. OH, did I mention the above reviewer should be shot by firing squad? lol - jokes

Well, Its a lot prettier than the old one. I know it can handle more current. My 48v Yamaha Drive with a Navitas controller, and 4 new 12v Dakota Lithium batteries does burnouts, biiiish!! Much more powerful, but I believe it has more to do with the other components.
