The Love To Dream Swaddle UP Transition Suit is a gentle transition solution, which helps preserve a baby's precious sleep routine and is perfect for babies who are ready to transition & love the secure feeling of a swaddle. Babies between two to three months grow fast, and when they are able to roll over, they are ready to transition from a swaddle to arms-free sleep. This transition can sometimes be hard because babies may still have some startle reflex present and they are used to swaddling. The Love To Dream team designed the Swaddle UP Transition Suit – which is part of Stage 2 in the Love To Dream’s 3 Stage Sleep System - to make this transition easy for both baby and parents. This transition swaddle shares the same features as the Swaddle UP Transition Bag, but with the added versatility of the unique Self-Soothing Sleeves and suit-like legs. Specially designed shorter zip-off Self-Soothing Sleeves provide a swaddling effect with the mitten cuffs folded over – perfect for babies that have been swaddled arms down. The Swaddle UP Transition Suit will gently transition your baby from sleeping snug in a swaddle towards having the independence of sleeping with his or her arms free in a sleep suit. The zipper design makes it easy to go back to the original swaddle design if your baby is not ready to transition. Once your little one is comfortable with both wings removed, the Swaddle UP Transition Suit can be used like a snug and comfortable sleep suit, but with baby still feeling secure. Since 2008, Love To Dream has been finding simple, yet genius solutions to everyday parenting and baby needs. Our desire was always to create products that looked great and more importantly provided a solution to a parenting challenge. The best news of all is that our products work! So everyone in the family will achieve a better night’s sleep. Functionality, usefulness and innovation are key for Love To Dream.

Don’t have a child without Love to Dream!
This was my third purchase of the Love to Dream line of swaddles and transition suits. My initial purchase was for one Swaddle Up during my third trimester, as I wanted to see if my son would enjoy being swaddled before purchasing more. We put him in the Step 1 Swaddle Up before even leaving the hospital, but honestly forgot about it during our first few days home busy trying to find a new norm. As my husband and I struggled for some normal semblance of sleep I remembered to use the Swaddle Up and immediately my son felt comforted and slept for 4+hrs straight. This result prompted a purchase of 3 more Step 1 Swaddle Up’s which became part of my son’s nightly bedtime routine giving us more and more sleep. Now at 2mos old, my son is big enough to need the next size up, so we decided to get Step 2 in preparation for him to begin to roll over. This company’s product does exactly what it’s advertised to do and all the little details make it even better - dual ended zipper, zipper cover at the neck, and soft stretchy fabric - all backed by certifications that makes parents that much more at ease. Love to Dream has become my #1 baby shower gift from here on out. Seriously, don’t have a baby without this product, your restful nights will thank you!

Baby didn't even notice the transition
I've been using the standard swaddle up 'sleep sacks' for 4 months now, but my daughter has shown signs of rolling around at night so I wanted to free her arms. I chose this particular version of the transition suit because it will be warmer than just one layer of fabric. We live in Colorado and it's currently wintertime. It's like her own little sleeping bag! We used the wings for 2 nights which is the same as she was used to in the normal swaddle up. I put on the sleeves last night with her hands parts folded over and she slept great again. She's happy as a clam.P.S. I also use the Owlet and this sack keeps the device on her foot very well. She can't kick it off anymore!

Expensive but well worth it
This suit isn't going to be a miracle for your child, but it will make sleep more comforting for them. They will be more snug and able to work on developing self soothing skills with the wing flaps, or if you choose, an open hand or two for them to suck on. Our son really loves sucking on the wings. I also like that you can use it with wings, but then when you see signs of rolling, you dont have to immediately discontinue since it is so expensive. You can simply customize to suit your kid and say, put two sleeves in or roll the feet covers up. It is also nice in the middle of the night if they feel too warm, you can uncover the feet or cover them if they are too cool. The suit is the perfect thickness. I wish we had purchased 2-3 of these to have on hand, but we only did 1 and alternate with a less favored Love to Dream Transition Bag since it was a little cheaper.

Baby loves these!
After trying other sleep products, for my newborn like Halo sleep sacks, sleepea etc we invested in these love to dream. Thankfully those other sacks were a hand me down, bc all sacks are big $$$. IDK how anyone thought Velcro at night is a good idea...Now we have graduated from the sleep sacks to the suit. However one critique— I am frustrated with suit with having to get babies legs out of the tight fitting feet/legs to change a diaper at night. The sleep sack with the double zipper I can change her diaper workout her waking up... Wish that they were buttonled along the legs or somesuch to make diaper changes a little easier. We still use her LoveToDream sleep sacks sometimes with the sleeves from this suit.Overall though 5 stars, she’s so cute in these- and is so happy to put it on at night, I think she really enjoys the hug around the middle. And Idk how we would have survived her nights without these. Baby has always loved having her hands up to sleep, Loves chewing on the little wings/hands.

Must Buy
We used the Love to Dream sleepers since our child was a NB. These products are wonderful and will save your sleep. Our child didn't like to be swaddled and always broke free at only a few weeks old. We put the Love to Dream on them and ever since we have had so much sleep. Now our child is older and started turning over and this transition sleeper is just want they needed. Don't think just buy, its worth the money if you want your sleep back.

LO loves it...
I really like this. You can see why it’s a bit pricey, there are many details going into this garment. The .02 TOG (thickness) is just right for florida climate. It’s super cute and best of all it makes my baby happy. It seems he likes the partial swaddling. I was so impressed with the common sense design of the original swaddle UP that I think ‘love to dream’ has earned at least a bit of my trust.

Sleeve zipper size is smaller than arm hole zipper
The sleeves that I received were too small for the sleep suit. You can see in the pictures that there is a gap in the arm hole because the zipper lengths are different. If the sleeve were the correct size then I would like this sleep suit. I like that you can zip from top or bottom, the hands and feet can be covered or left out, and you can take the sleeves on and off. Unfortunately, I will have to return because of the zipper length on the sleeves.

Waste of money and time
I got this legs free swaddler, hoping that my infant will like the legs free experience while still having the cozy swaddle feeling. I was wrong, this product is defective, after just one wash, the neckline came off completely as shown in the picture. And I cannot use this swaddler anymore. Waste of money and time. I expected a good quality product for the price I paid. Disappointed !

Larger than the sleeping bags of the equivalent size
Sizing of the love to dream products is very strange. The sleeping bags are very short (my little girl outgrew the size small bag about 2.5kg below the upper weight on the label). She’s currently in the size medium bag so I thought the size medium suit would be a good fit, but it’s actually huge, she won’t fit it for another 3 months at least. That being said, once you find the right size, the love to dream products are very good quality and worth the money.

Will be returning
My baby is only 7 weeks and I wanted to try this to reduce the startle reflex. When it came I tried him in it but his arms were so scrunched up I was worried it would affect their development if used long term. It's also small fitting that my little boy would not be able to use this until 6 months old. Also the 1 tog that is recommended is so thin I was worried baby would be really cold. Went straight back to using a sleeping bag and this will be returned ASAP. not worth the £35! I got 2 brilliant sleeping bags for £20 that are cosy and baby is happy in from George ASDA.

Good quality but a little expensive
Great product. A little pricey especially if you want more than one for accidents etc. Looks good quality material so can justify the price tag somewhat. Baby seems to like it, chews on the hand part. Haven’t tried to transition out yet, hoping to get through 4 month sleep regression first.

Gold!
It’s just amazing! I am such a big fan of love to dream! Gold for transitioning and now these new ones with legs and arms for bigger babies is super convenient. I wish the 2.5 tog one was available for UK but isn’t yet on the store.

Somewhat disappointed
Was somewhat disappointed with these. I loved the Love to Dream swaddles for my little one, so was very excited to try these out, however I found getting my chunky 9 month old baby into them a bit tricky (I found getting the legs in through the central zip difficult).
