Auto shut off doesn’t work
I like this pump, it seems plenty powerful. Unfortunately, I bought it for the automatic shut off feature, which doesn’t work. The water in my fountain gets low, the pump just keeps chugging, loudly. It also has the light joining in, flashing away and drawing even more attention to the emptiness. So much sadness.

Poor water loft
This pump would NOT push a column of water 3’ high in my fountain. It is not suited for the advertised purpose. I was expecting better performance and disappointed that I had to buy a different.

Have had sever brands of pumps. This is #1
Have had several brands. This on seems the best so far now for several weeks. First concern is burn out when no water in pump. Some have cooling chambers, Smart Electronics on a chip, etc. This has a water level sensor that works! So far so good for my small fountain, plenty of water for a 2.5 foot rise (had to adjust the pump down).

Works as advertised!
I use this in an urn fountain that rotates the water through. Pump works like it is supposed to. And does auto shut-off if water gets below it. I've had about 3 of these and keep coming back to them so that says something! They seem to die every 3 years or so... but all good.

nice, sturdy little pump
Low-water Auto shut-off feature works well. Holds up well under constant use. I'd still be using my first one if the missus hadn't accidentally cut the power cord with the garden shears. I store the fountain in a shed right before the first freeze, and bring it back out in the early spring. Even withstood an electrical short when water got into the extension cord.

Made the DIY easy
I have no experience. I have no ability. But, I turned this thing and some tubing and a wifi outlet and a giant terracotta pot and a stag horn on some tongue and groove (admittedly, that part was not DIY) into a self irrigating wall feature that drowns out road noise and compels me to write run-on sentences patting myself on the back.
