Have realistic expectations…
So I bought this LCD writing tablet in order to minimize the use of having to depend on flash cards /taking notes as I am in school full time.PROS: * It is a good size (15”) screen to be able to write my notes on.* It is lightweight and comes with the pen.CONS:* The writing on the LCD screen is rather light and does not illuminate in the dark.* If you write with medium or bigger letters / characters you are not going to have much room as the space on the board is limited despite it being 15 inches.* You can’t erase one letter or character with the pen provided. You have to erase the whole board if you make a mistake. I honestly was not aware of that prior to purchasing. Conclusion: if you want a quick way to draw, keep young children entertained, doodle or jot down reminder notes/food list without wasting any paper then this is a great purchase. However, If your objective is to take detailed school notes /and/or do flash cards then I would honestly look elsewhere. Specifically I would use or purchase an IPAD and get the Apple pen, as there are much more advantages. There are some very useful note taking apps for your iPad. You can personalize it in addition to saving your work, quickly erase/correct words/sentences and you can write unlimited.

Daughter Loves it—Buying a Second One as a Gift
I'm going to be honest here, I didn't have very high expectations when I bought this one, but I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality.I have a 22-month-year-old daughter who loved her Magna-Doodle drawing pad until the slider would no longer work to "erase" her images. While looking for a replacement, I came across this tablet, and I'm really glad we purchased it. My daughter loves drawing on it and REALLY loves pressing the erase button. Thankfully, the lock works well for when I'm trying to finish that monkey drawing she asked for and she's running out of patience...It's a pleasure to draw on, and the build quality is also better than expected. While I wouldn't leave it with a toddler unattended, it has survived the occasional drop or being stepped on when we weren't fast enough to prevent it.I also appreciate the attention to detail including extra batteries and the screw driver to access the compartment. My 7-year-old niece also started drawing on it and loves it, so we'll be getting her one as well!

Easy to use
This was a Christmas gift forMy grandson and I believe one of his favorites. The color isn’t as bright as it is shown, but honestly he doesn’t know the difference. Very easy for him to use.

What a great concept!
We bought two of these LCD writing tablets. We bought them to keep my two youngest busy while traveling and sitting in Drs offices and such but these tablets are so much fun that my children use them all the time. I have 11 kids and I find the older ones borrowing them and doodling on them or leaving cute pictures and messages on them for each other all the time. They are lightweight, sturdy and the writing shows up great. One of my children is missing some optic nerves in her eyes and can not see dim things and this was bright enough for her to see and enjoy the writing on it when in a well-lit room. These also do save us from going through so much paper. These were a great buy at a great price and we will soon be purchasing more. Blessings!

Acceptable Quality
It is lightweight, portable and flimsy. The kids enjoy it very much. The stylus holder will either break or get lost because it just clips onto the screen and not so well. It comes with the battery. Enjoy!

Love it!
I bought this for my two year old son. He took to it right away. We love how big it is. He sits on it, steps on it and it still works! We are teaching him not to put the stylis pen in his mouth and put it back in the spot on the pad. So far so good. If you are buying this for your little one, the only thing I would worry about is the pen. You can always take it away and give the little one some other thing to draw with.
