We have a 10 lb dog that squeezes through fencing or digs under it. We have had this bumper for several years. She doesn't mind when we put it on for out door play. The days that we have forgotten it in the spring she has chased rabbits and ended up in doggy jail. I would gladly pay the amount for the bumper ensuring her safety than for her to be endangered and end of in the klink, traumatized:) This has saved her. We ordered an additional one after 3years it was getting a bit worn from daily use. Quality stitched, however the button wasn't a secure fit. Requested a refund or return and they promptly sent one free of charge the same day to our home. Grateful for them and this product.

Wish I would have thunk of it, lol. this is just what the doctor ordered, it works beautifully but make sure u use their collar to put it on with because my Bishon could unsnap it or just put her face down and put her paws on it and push it off her neck. the only thing I would suggest, I live in florida and the plastic one is what I bought and it was hot here. use the cloth ones in hot climates.love and happiness from Bella the Bishon. it worked for her.

I have a Morkie and she doesn't mind this at all. We have a picket fence in our back yard and she can still run out without the bumper on. You must make sure you snap it if your dog is like mine she push's at the fence with it on but it works great. My dog is so little she gets wet from the dew in the morning so this being product being water proof is awesome. We've had it a year and the product still looks like new. The craftsmanship is great also. If I had one wish I would like the item to come in a more patterns. My dog love to look pretty and trust me she knows when she looks good so that the only thing I would want if I had a choice.

Our pug mix (w boston terrior) hasn't gotten out once since I put this on. We have a very large yard with lots of slope and I kept putting up chicken wire everywhere and he would still get out, multiple times per day. To vist neighbors, other dogs, passers by, it was SO frustrating! Then I had a vision of this pillow -- luckily it was already a thing. Thank you for this pillow, its awesome! It looks like a life preserver, although I'm sure it won't help him float, but it keeps him in the yard! Hopefully he'll grow a bit more, or my kid will be installing chicken wire so he won't have to wear this for the rest of his life...

What an amazing concept! We moved to a new neighborhood with a wrought-iron fence, and when our little Schcion slipped right through, I thought for sure we were going to have to get an electric fence. One of our neighbors casually mentioned a "bumper," and I was on Amazon searching within 5 minutes. Found this and it has been miraculous! She CANNOT get through the fence now (but she can still get through our doggy door, thank goodness). It doesn't seem to bother her at all, too, which is nice. I got the first one made of cloth, though, and it was wet and dirty in no time. This one is definitely the better choice.

Update: Worked well for 11 days until it ripped open and the button fell off. So far it works well!

My dog weighs 5lbs and has a 7inch neck. The smallest size fits her just fine and she cannot get through my fence. The vinyl material works perfect on snowy/rainy days. I have other puppy bumpers that are made with the regular material that is not so good for inclement weather. I was so glad to see that they come with this vinyl coating.

This is exactly what we needed to keep my dog from escaping our fence! Love that it is waterproof so when my dog rolls in mud I can just wipe it clean. Have another one at my parents for their fence and recommended it to my sister as well for here small escape artist too.
