100% germination on 6 seeds
I planted 6 seeds in seed starting mix and allowed them to germinate inside a warm room (75 degrees Fahrenheit) . All 6 emerged as very robust sprouts. I transferred them outside to harden off in a partially shady location for about 10 days and then transplanted them to the garden. All 6 survived transplanting. They are now over 6 feet tall. I have no beans yet, but they vines are getting ready to bloom. I was hoping that the seeds would be the old common Romano beans that seem to have disappeared off the market, but the seeds are white, not tan with a white eye. I’ll report on flavor once I’ve had beans mature. I just wanted to share my experience with germination since other people mentioned their seeds didn’t germinate.

Best Choice!
I’ve been planting this bean from solerno Seed Co. for 2 years. They are the most amazing, tender and reliable bean producers! I directly sow in the ground and end up with more flat beans than my family if 7 can eat! We also purchased San Marzano seeds ftom them and are extremely pleased! Fantastic seed company!

They arrived too late to plant this year.
I liked the looks of the seeds. I didn't like their arrival time, but I understood they traveled from Italy. I expect to like the beans they will grow a lot because they are the tastiest.
