Simcan Men's / Women's Casual Quarter Socks

The price I found these at was so fantastic that I took a chance and ordered several for 3 family members. When they turned out to be as nice or nicer than shown and described, I went right back and ordered more. They've gone through the first machine wash and dry just fine and so far I see no reason to believe they won't wear reasonably well too. The sizing is accurate. The smooth, soft, stretchy cotton flat knit is a nice weight for warmer weather that is a welcome relief from the bulky, cushioned cotton, synthetic and wool blends that dominate the market, especially in this lower cut style. I'd love to see these made in a lower cut no-show version too!

Many of the socks I have recently bought from the store have elasticated ankles that I find too tight. These Simcan ones are ribbed vertically at the ankle, are far less tight and are very comfortable for me. When they come out of the wash and dryer they look kinda short, but the weave is such that a small tug it stretches or moves into the correct size. The other thing I'm looking for is a mostly cotton blend which is what these area.I had a bunch of Nike ones that previously worked out ok for me, but they have mostly worn out at the heels. The more recent Nike ones I have bought all seem to have a an elasticated ring that is far too tight for my ankles. I had to dump off all my new Nikes with my son.I will follow up with a review in 6 months to see how well they last.

Just as I indicated in my headline, they are always same fit and quality. Will continue my collection and introduce them to family and friends.

If you have neuropathy or swelling in your feet and ankles, Simcan socks are meant for you. The weave does not leave pressure marks in your flesh. The material is soft and wicks away moisture. The sock does not lose its elasticity and gape or droop after many washings. The sock fits to your foot and does not twist.The quarter sock length is just right for warmer weather.

I have purchased these socks for many years and the fabric has changed with each order. This particular order the fabric and weave was thinner than in the past. They also were slightly larger than in the past

I just purchased these socks..not sure how they will wash and wear, but was very impressed with first wearing. Socks were thin,stretchy...very comfortable. 09-15-13 Liked them so well..about to repurchase more..only wish there were more colors to choose from ie gray, navy, dk brown.

the socks were purchased for the main reason of being able to put them on easier than other brands of socks....they do just that! the only complaint is that dried in the dryer, they shrink....I could air dry but I just stretch them out

I have been buying SimCan socks for several years. These socks stay up and do not leave indentations in my legs. When your legs are larger than average, those socks are too confining. Not Simcan. I also love their wool blend for the winter.
