I bought this brush after trying and natural bristle boar hair brown brush that just did not work. This one on the other hand is fantastic! There is no tangling. It's comfortable to hold and my hair dries in a snap now since it's so large. It does not pull the hair too tight, It's comfortable to use. Would highly recommend. I have long fine hair that is not surely wavy and Will get frizzy if not dried, usually drying takes a long time but this hair brush makes it a snap! Love it!

Great brush tho handle needs work. Made of pressboard which broke the first time I used it on my hair. Have purchased 4 of these recently as they are difficult to find… last 1 didn’t last not even a minute, handle snapped right in half! Previous one, same thing happened after a week. Tried to tape it tho can’t be repaired. For the price should be made with real wood or metal. Disappointed as love the brush but not worth the money

I loved my wood Phillips 5" Monster Brush (maroon version) but part of it broke when I dropped it so I replaced it with this one and I love this brush! The handle is much improved with a rubber grip that makes it much easier to handle. The natural bristles on this brush also grip the hair so I can get the straightening/smoothing I need. However this 5" round tourmaline brush is definitely larger than the previous 5" wood version. It's HUGE. My hair is wavy, somewhat curly and has gotten very frizzy. It's just a bit longer than shoulder length with some layers. This brush, along with some product definitely solves the frizz/curly issue - my hair is straight and smooth after using it (along with some product for straight hair and some hair oil). I mostly dry my hair with a paddle brush upside down, then section and use this brush for the finishing. Sectioning is the trick with this brush, rotating and blowing hot as the hair goes around the bristles until it's smooth. My length hair only gets a small amount of bend with this huge brush (think Jessica Alba bob) but I'm thinking of also getting the 4.5" version for some added bend on the ends of my long side bangs and the layers they blend into. I don't need to use a flat iron and if I want to, it's only a quick pass through to get that flat iron super straight glossy look.

If you are a beginner in using a roll brush, then I would not recommend you start by using this! I have had a "bob haircut" for the last 14 years SO, a roll brush has ALWAYS been a must.I have decided to try to grow my hair out which has been somewhat of a challenge in the drying department. My hair is now about 2 inches below my shoulders (not long I know) and drying with my usual roll brush was KILLING ME! I decided to try using the largest brush I could find to give the top part of my hair a bouncy, full volume look AND try to cut my drying time down. LETS JUST SAY I WAS SHOCKED when I was able to cut my dry time in half! I parted my hair up and made smaller sections to dry which made it go even faster. My hair was shiny, full of volume and it just felt GREAT!Due to the size of this brush, I had somewhat of a challenge using it. It will take a little getting used to, but I am SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT!I would have given it 5 stars, but for aome reason some of the bristles melted. It could be "operator error" so I cannot honestly say it has anything to do with the quality of the brush. Im very happy so far!

This brush is the best, the blow dryer fits in the hole making it easier to blow dry your hair, leaves the hair silky. Helps blow drying your hair fast and leaves it soft and shiny.

I love volume for my hair and there's fresh helps me create that volume while cutting my hair dry in half

Received on or about February 7, 2024, and handle broke on March 22, 2024. Was not used daily. Already past the return date. Buyer beware.

I wish I would’ve follow the advice of the reviews better… The thing is I couldn’t find this size brush from another brand, so I decided to run the risk of getting a faulty one… And now I have paid the price. I loved this brush the first few times I used it, it’s the perfect size for drying my hair and straightening very fast. It would be a great brush if the handle didn’t break. After using my brush about seven times, the handle is now loose and turns, which that alone makes it very difficult to pull the hair taught because I have to hold onto the barrel instead of the handle. I’m sure any day now it’ll actually break off. I’m disappointed because I’ve barely even used this product – I’m going to look for some very strong super glue and hopefully it will hold. Serious, if you buy this it’s probably going to break – too many reviews for the same problem. The seller should give refunds or send replacements that are not faulty.
