I’m just amazed that I can find so many things on Amazon. The pool service was unable to locate this part. A little pricey for what it is but glad to find it at all. The installation was a bit tricky because we had to drain the hot tub to get to it. Glad it wasn’t the swimming pool drain cover 🥹

Exact match for 20+ year old pool with brittle drain covers. Did 2 in the spa, just ordered two more for the pool. Thankfully wasn’t too hard where I could mostly drain the spa into the pool since existing screws came out fairly easily. Deep end of pool tips. Keep a plunger near the drain to stick to the bottom and hold with one hand while unscrewing with the other to keep from floating up. One screw came out after many tries, the other would not budge, so I snapped off the plastic ring to give me about 1/4 inch of screw head to grab with a plier and got it off that way. There are the 2 holes and 90 degrees from those are two tabs. I couldn't get the tabs to seat into their holes, and out of frustration punched the cover and it snapped right in. Another tip is to put a rag into the drain hole, so you don't lost screws or bits of plastic down there. One more cover, that isn't broken to replace, but will wait to see if it does breaks first.

I replaced the drains in my spa that fed to the pool. It was over 30 years old. This piece fit perfect but I had to use the old screws.
