Love this book - the illustrations are simple but well drawn and the story is easy for little ones to follow, a nice adventure and with a positive message (without being cheesy!).

A beautiful story for children. I read this with my reception class and we loved the story of little crab being brave and trying new things. The illustrations are wonderful and a lovely story to follow.

I love Chris Haughton's books: visually stunning and engaging stories that everyone will love. Stand up well to re-reading too. My child loves the colour-rich illustrations that make the story so magical. You get the real "wow" moment when little crab makes it to the sea! Lots of great interactive moments too.

Love this book, got it for my son who was having a operation. It was great to compare the worried little crab and his journey with my sons time in hospital. Really helpful and the illustrations are beautiful.

Nice story, several words repeated and identifiable, like "whoosh", which our almost 4 Yr old could read and say out loud before we said them.
