Pretty OK for getting 10 minutes of peace
Bought this six months ago for our 1.5 year old lab puppy. We will the center area with pumpkin and freeze it. This is good to occupy her for about 10 minutes. She will sometimes be calmer afterward, but not always.Be careful which one you purchase — they are NOT all dishwasher safe. The one I got is not. But, we place it in the dishwasher anyway and it hasn't resulted in any problem yet.Pay attention to the instructions that say to sit with your dog the first few times. You want to make sure the dog doesn't start a habit of chewing the actual mat. I can see how that could have happened if we didn't sit with our pup the first couple of times.

Nice tool to distract puppy, anxiousness
Our puppy has some separation anxiety, and likes to chew things, or exhibit bad behavior. We use this as a tool to calm him down. The only downside we saw, was he would grab a corner and try to eat it. That was only one time. Since then, he hasn't done it.

They work well for dogs with short snouts
My pugs had a hard time with the deeper slow feeder bowls and these worked much better. Super durable, they’ve been chewed on and put through the dishwasher many times and still have a ton of life left

Thank You
My dogs love these! They don't have suction cups, but stick really well to the floor. They keep the doggos entertained for at least 15 minutes, which I'm happy with. The pup, who chews everything, hasn't tried chewing it but I'm also smart enough not to leave him alone with it.Bought a second set so all 3 doggos can have one and there is a spare for the cats who like to take a like.

My dog enjoys it
When I am going to be gone for a while, I leave this for my dog. He loves to try to lick the peanut butter out of it. It keeps him busy for a while and gives him the comfort of licking.

Works fine but not as intended
We have an elderly, toothless Chihuahua. He can lick small amounts of food off the back side (smooth side) just fine. Has trouble with the toothed side.

Helped my dog calm down
I bought these mats because I board dogs. I’m always looking for things that I can sanitize in between stays. These are perfect. I can put them right in the dishwasher and they keep their shape. I spread peanut butter on it and the dog stays busy for a while. The dog is also more calm afterwards.

Lick mat
Its a nice large size. It only has one type of bristles on it not diff types of grooves etc..which is fine. It has a flat bottom no suction cups but the first use it did stick pretty well to tile floor. I think cups might be a good idea for real powerful eaters. I only put peanut butter on it so far. I wish it was dishwasher safe but not deal breaker. You will need to use a lil brush to remove any leftovers to clean it as some got stuck my dog didn't lick it ...

Great idea, but needs to be more durable.
I’ve a Working Cocker Spaniel puppy who is coming up for 12 weeks old. Bowl feeding him isn’t an option as Spaniels need mental stimulation, even when eating.Bought these mats as I thought that they’d be a good option, but need to stress that it’s worth following the instructions which I didn’t do with the green one. You definitely need to start with a small amount of food and sit with your pup, while they lick at the mat. Any time they start to chew, take the mat away. I’ve done this with the blue mat, and it worked really well.I have the pink Kong, which has been great so far and keeps my pup engaged for ages.

Lick mat.
My dog loves it! I use Arden Grange liver paste on it and he loves it, great for using while grooming or as a treat or distraction. Cleans easily too. Would recommend!
