Figured I'd give this a shot since Amazon is pretty risk free. I can see the potential of this lens, and I'd love to have one in my Osmo kit. Plus, I love the little zipper case it comes in.Unfortunately I'll be returning this for the following reasons:1) Unable to balance. The Osmo Pocket, try as it might, can't balance this lens. If I attach it prior to startup it goes into protection mode. If I let it power on and then attach, it will just barely balance it until it have to move, at which point the tilt motor begins vibrating up/down rapidly and shortly goes into protection. If I keep a finger on the camera just gently touching it it remains stable, but that's no fun. I think with either a little bit of weight reduction or a little bit of counterbalance it would do the trick. I'm not really feeling like it though because...2) The picture is very soft. While it achieves the fundamental goal of an anamorphic lens, the picture that results is very soft. I posted some comparison shots so you can see the naked camera view vs. the anamorphic lens. It's too soft, and contrast suffers as well. I did clean both sides of the lens and the camera itself so this isn't fingerprints on the lens or anything. And finally...3) Distortion at the edges is pretty apparent if you're panning left/right. Distracting for sure, but I could live with it if not for 1 & 2.So why 3 stars, given that it's not really usable? Because nobody else is trying to make a lens like this, and I'm glad they're trying. With a little tweaking this can be a great product.

I already have an wide angle lens FREEWELL long ago, but I am not very happy with because it is not wide enough, so when I see this lens, I bought right away, but it does not work as it advertises. Anamorphic Lens, what is that? They said you don't need any APP with this, but...it looks weird! From their ad they show one regular picture and one VERY wide angle, but when I test it shows one regular picture and one the picture squeezes in things look taller...no I don't like it. I will return right now. I am still wondering what is Anamorphic? why they still sell two more wide angle lens? then what is this Anamorphic does with the Osmo Pocket?

This is a true 1.33 Anamorphic (unlike the 1.15). However this doest not work with the "New" DJI Pocket 2.Do not buy this if you own the DJI Pocket 2.What do I mean by that?It will fit perfectly on the DJI Pocket 2 but because there is a lager sensor in the new DJI Pocket 2, this lens creates these blurred border on the right and left of the frame and even the corners are soft. The barrel distortion is also magnified.So, this lens is not recommended for use with the DJI Pocket 2.Now, If you own the original DJI Osmo Pocket, this this an awesome 1.33 Anamorphic lens. The Freewell anamorphic lens 1.15 anamorphic lens.So, if you own the original DJI Osmo Pocket, I would highly, highly recommend this lens.

It's definitely not going to make your shots look like JJ Abrams' "Star Trek" movies. Basically, in certain light conditions, it adds some trippy blueish horizontal lines to the light flare. It also squishes the subject matter vertically considerably, so people look skinny. I wish I had waited for a better one to come out.

Awful piece of equipment. And absolutely ridiculous to be priced at $40. Made my video super blurry and distorted on the ends. Wouldn’t focus correctly. I would never use this on my camera when creating professional works. Do not purchase this.

Makes video unusable, if you want to throw out all of the video you shot with this then go head clip it on and shoot twice, if your smart you'll shot twice.

I wanted to give it a try and bought this lens. It deteriorates the image quality by blurring it and on top of that the right edge of the lens is visible no matter what and how you try to adjust it. I am returning it now. By the way, iIt is listed 19.99 on Ulanzi website. I am sure they would charge the rest for shipping. Who knows.
