Avcomm Acoustic Mic Muff - P1022

The foam actually tore when I put the rubber o-ring on to secure the muff over the mic. The only possible way (I found) to get the o-ring on to secure the muff without tearing the foam is to put the o-ring on the muff prior to trying to place the muff on the mic. Then when you slide the muff onto the mike it will stretch as you push down on the foam over the mic and the o-ring will be on the muff when it finishes sliding down into position. If you try to roll the o-ring down- BE CAREFUL! That is when my muff had a tiny divot (for lack of a better word) put in the exterior of the muff. Other than that difficulty, its not that bad of a product. This is the only muff I've found that covers my large mic. (set of Avcomm's). The david clark brand mic muff wouldnt fit by any means. Hope this helps you not tear your muff.

Works perfect with my Lightspeed Sierra Headset. My original muff fell off in a rental plane somewhere, and this did the trick for the replacement.
