Benecasa Manual Meat Grinder, Large

I was hoping for a nice hardy grinder that would last a lifetime. But.......it was heavily painted with metalic all through it and rubbed off onto your hand. Can one only imagine what it would be like to have it all through your food?? Oh yum. =(

I bought this item since it was marketed as New and I was planning to buy bulk meat. I did not open it since i did not have anything to grind until recently....I bought 20lb of meat, and opened the box, there was an familiar smell that i remember while back when i bought a screwdriver from a local dollar store for the last time...This meat grinder appeared to have been spray painted and the thread are partially warned out...Since this was my first ever grinder i did not know what it should be like...So i washed it very well, removed some heavy stuck on oil residue, and such...i Put the unit together, how ever the front cover took a while to screw on to hold the blade that did not securely fit its handle..... I proceeded to grind some meat it took a while and lots of pressure to get it going, after pounds of meat i notice something shiny, the blade and metal parts were grinding into the meat, there were metal on the meat...i assumed it was new and needed to grind of some of the metal to get everything lined up. i cleaned it and restarted, with the same result, metal in the meat....Clearly a defective unit sold under false advertisement....and now i can not return the unit or exchange it for a new....Avoid this seller...

Grinders are suppose to have different size grinding attachments. This had "1" and it wasn't the one we needed to grind our meat for Mince Meat Pies. It made it like course bread crumbs which wasn't how we wanted it. We haven't used it since. Have no idea what you are suppose to grind with that ONE attachment!

The item is probably made in China.....it came with a defective blade..one of the 4 edges is missing...poor casting......I wouldn't buy one of these....EBAY has them from China for about $15 delivered.

This literally broke 5 minutes into use!! The clamp snapped off right after so did the handle! Not durable at all, complete junk! 😣

The handle was cast improperly. It should have a flat spot to be able to turn the worm gear. Could you please send on that is cast properly ?
