Jaybird& Mais Black Cloth Hockey Tape, 1" x 25 yards (2-Pack)

This comes as two 1" rolls stuck together side by side.I got the black color as a generic, neutral color. I used this as grip tape for my lacrosse sticks so I could prevent my hands from slipping down when I shoot. It works perfectly for that. When you first put it on, it is a tad sticky to the touch, but after some use and wear, the stickiness goes away. When applying the tape, it wraps on very nicely and is very thin, which is perfect because it keeps the stick light and maneuverable but gives very good grip and keeps my hands from slipping. I can still slide my hand easily to where I need it quickly without hindrance, but when I need it to remain in place for shooting, it does not slip. I have been using this product for over two weeks almost every day and the tape still does its job and is not coming off yet like other tapes I have tried. These rolls come with lots of extra tape after I finished using it on two of my three sticks. I highly doubt I will ever need to re-tape my sticks, unless I want to try one of the many other colors available. For the price, it is a steal!

It's hockey tape just like any other hockey tape. It sticks great and makes a fantastic gripping material. I put this on the handle of my cold steel trail hawk and it makes work a lot easier by not having to hold such a firm grip while working with it. I also put it on the handle of my cold steel magnum kukri because the handle was just a bit slimmer than I like so I used this tape to ad some girth as well as grip to the handle. I have even gone as far as wrapping my steering wheel in this stuff when it has suffered from sun fading and cracking.Anyway, it's hockey tape, it's good and you can't go wrong with it.

I've never heard of this brand, but this tape is the real deal. I put it on my street hockey stick (it had a wooden blade, and you know how those wear down fast) and after a couple games it still hung in there. I kinda wish I had good tape like this when I played ice hockey, because it's stronger and longer-lasting than what I used to buy back then.

I got this tape for wrapping the handles on my dumbbells. It had made lifting much more comfortable, and was easy to put on.The adhesive has held up to a lot of use, my only complaint is the threads in the tape end up fraying out but I can understand I'm not using it for what it was intended. Good value.

The tape has worked fine so far. I used it to tape up some pads on a chair that lives in an outside storage locker. Time will tell as to whether it can hold through a Tennessee summer, with temps of up to 108. I had enough tape to do my job, but there were supposed to be 2 rolls. There was only one.

I'm getting back into hockey and I've been going through a few tapes to find what I like best. The short answer: this. While it doesn't tear as easily or stick as firmly as some of the other tapes. The texture is perfect, the durability is impressive, and the grip unbeatable (both in your glove and on the puck). The last couple tapes I used were very tacky, however the (black) glue also got on my gloves, in my bag, on the wall... yeah, no bueno, plus when the glue dried out the tape itself had no grip to it. This tape has grip, the amount of tackiness to get it on the stick (and nothing else), and a good thickness to keep your stick from getting trashed as you snipe ginos all day while the dusters break their legs.

Awesome tape for jiu-jitsu. I use it for grappling. I tape my fingers and toes and tape would not come off. It will leave some black glue residual after taking it off, but you can pick it off afterwards. Not a big deal for me at all.

Great price and quantity. Used for wrapping handles on woodworking tools, gardening tools, most everything with a smooth handle. Time to re-order, I'm almost out!
