Very handsome watch for the working man. I like my everyday items to be useful, practical and look good. This watch does it! It’s my first watch in this price range my last diver was a citizen, which I loved. This is my new favorite.If you’re deciding on this based on price, I would wait until it’s near the $500 price. other then that, it’s gorgeous, keeps time, easy to read and it glows perfectly in all light settings. Although, I do wish they would make the Bezel more visible in low light settings as this model does not.

With the price, I was worried that this was counterfeit or something, but this is the real deal, and it's an amazing watch. This is a lifetime watch. I'll never have to buy a watch again. For the guy that complained that it's rough inside, I kind of get it, but quality sometimes produces roughness because the tooling is done with sharp tools. By the way, it's actually the text engraving on the back of the watch that's sharp, but it's so shallow that you'd have to be pretty sensitive for it to bother you.Also, when I first got it I didn't think the glow was very bright, and I've heard other people say this, too. And it is like that when you first turn off the lights, but once your eyes adjust to the darkness, the glow is much brighter.It seems very accurate. After a few days, it still keeps time exactly to the second with my phone. I have a cheap quartz watch that loses about one second a month, so if this is less accurate than that, I'll report back here.[EDIT LATER: It loses half a second a month. I'd say that's pretty accurate!]

I made adjustments to the band for correct fitting. The watch is large 44mm case. The band and back of the watch do not bother me as others have noted. I have not worn the watch in the water but we are traveling soon and I will update this review if needed. I like the classic diver design. The hands and face are easy to read in light or dark. I searched for this watch and this was the lowest price I could find for the authentic watch. I’m looking forward to putting it through the paces.

This is my 3rd Luminox watch and I have mixed feelings about it. Mostly I love it, but there are 2 issues hold it back from being my favorite watch. For clarity, I purchased the stainless case/band with black dial and bezel version.I'll start with the positives:The case, band and crown are beautifully designed. They have a brushed stainless surface with polished accents here and there. The carbonox bezel turns and indexes with precision. It has a nice tactile feel to it, yet not overdone. The LLT (glow in the dark) markers are bright enough for me, but more importantly (again, to me) stay consistently at that brightness. Personally, I don't want them overly bright and have no trouble seeing them. Others have mentioned they would prefer them to be brighter. Overall, the watch fits my wrist well, despite it's large 44mm size.That brings me to 2 cons that are hard to overlook:The hands are flat and pretty basic in design. In some light (fluorescent) they look to be more of a nickel (yellowish) when compared to the case/band SS steel. That is a minor gripe when compared to the next. The second hand is slightly misaligned to the minute markers on the dial. While I understand why this happens in low end watches, it's surprising to see from Luminox. That alone is what prevents me from giving this watch a 5 star review.In summary: It is truly a beautiful watch that feels "almost premium". Fixing the two issues (or at least the second hand) would knock this watch out of the park. I'll keep mine, but this will likely bug the heck out of me if I continue to look at it closely.

Purchased the same watch about 12 years ago; wore it 24/7, work and dress. This model is better looking. I compared it to several more expensive brands; this IS a great value. My only recommendation: wish the time starting indicator were more distinguishable. It isn't as bright as my first watch but still easy to read at night. It's keeping perfect time, just like my prior one. It's better looking than in pictures. I'm totally pleased.Tom H.

I've wanted a Luminox, I own both Citizen and Sieko watches. I enjoy the SS band. The clasp is meant to not get caught on anything while working. It does its job and looks good doing it.
