Which is better, spray or power roll? How about spray and back roll with regular roller?

I'm a homeowner with a background in "artistic/show" painting of aircraft/cars/bikes. So I bring that to my house, which is why I haven't found a satisfactory contractor yet. I spray or power roll only. Spraying gives me better control over finish texture and quality, with the requirement of significant masking and prep. But if I roll, I found power rolling gives at least equal results as regular rolling with more control, lower paint consumption, and faster cleanup (no pour spouts/cans/buckets/trays to clean & and the paint hose is pumped back into the bucket). In fact, I can usually power roll mess-free with no masking whatsoever. But however you roll, there is a roll cover cleaning tool that beats everything else. I got mine from Wagner, and unfortunately I can't find them online now. It's a large tube, roughly 4"x12", with a 12" spray bar with a hose threaded end, fastened against the inside wall of the tube. A 2" notch in the tube, opposite the spray bar allows a single arm roller frame (with a messy regular or perforated cover) to drop down inside the tube. Attach a hose, turn on the water, and the spray bar (squirting at a slight angle) makes the roll spin as its flushed. Truly faster and cleaner than any other method. Hope this helps...

Is it compatible with a Titan Impact 440?

Yes, it will work with all sprayers. It attaches to your hose not your sprayer and all hoses have the same universal connectors. It doesn’t rely on pressure except to push the paint into your perforated roller sleeve. Which doesn’t need much pressure to do. This is a great rolling system and will save tremendous time in any decent size room. The more painting the better.

Do you clean the roller cover for the next job or just get a new one? If project takes more than one day how do you store the cover for the next day?

If you have a multi day paint job and don't want to clean up each day wrap the roller head in plastic and cover your paint bucket with plastic as well.  Keep paint in the line and don't allow it to dry out.  I've used the same roller on a whole house interior paint job over a one week time frame and it worked great.  Save's lots of time avoiding clean up and set up each day.  As long as it stays wet the roller will work fine.  These are great rollers to use with an airless paint pump and saves lots of time over an old fashion roller.  When done clean the roller good and it will be good to go for your next paint project.
