This is a great case.
Wow! it fits perfectly for my twelve string guitar. Not to small not to big. I just received my new case from amazon, it took two days for delivery. I ordered it on Sunday. I am once again impressed by amazon on how fast they delivered it. I'd like to repeat the fact that I live in one of the most remote place in the world. Yes, still in USA and one of the fifty states, but this is pretty awesome. Yes it does have pretty bad smell. I am going to live it outside in the yard for little bit I hope that would take care of it like other reviews have said. Getting back to the product, it is so well fit for my guitar it seems it is almost custom made. depends on which six string acoustic guitar and classical guitar I am going to get (if the item does not provide its own case), I am going to get another one. Now I gotta take the case out because as it seats right next to me my eyes are starting to hurt me. The smell! So I will update the review and so four-star for now. Yep!With just two hours seating outside by the porch the smell is gone. The case is beautiful as it seats in my room. It's pocket to fit in my tuner, capo, and two sets of brand new strings with PLENTY of room to spare. About 80% room to spare apprx. It also have three very sturdy bridge on one side of the case so no side would be damaged when I put the case down on its side on the floor. The lock with set of two keys work perfect; even though I doubt I'll ever use it, anyway. The case closes with perfect fit, no prob.Inside the case is very soft, so it would be gentle on the guitar with any kind of finish. The case is built very sturdy and so it would literally take a hammer and a saw to do any serious damages. Metals are shiny finish with no signs of rust. It looks new. The stitch is bold like a good case should be. The handle for now is also sturdy but as some of the review mentioned that it seems kind of weak; it shouldn't be a problem if you plan not to do too much carrying around walking, I mean if you plan to put it in the trunk of your car to take your jamming sessions and gigs if you prefer. If I take care of the case like I would take care for my guitar itself, I expect the case to last for a long time, like 10+ years. I am willing to spend another forty $ 10+ years later for equal quality. I had a less quality case with far less padding lasted ten years which I moved from state to state and whole lot of walking carrying it around since I had my guitar before I had a car. Even mailed that old case to different state by USPS with insurance. For forty dollars it was well worth it. I can finally take care of my guitar, the other love of my life besides my family. Hahaha! Finally I do give five stars for the product.

Great case
I wanted a hardshell case for my guitar and I was shocked that all but a few would have cost more than my start up guitar. Knowing that a good case was essential to keeping a guitar safe for decades to come I chose this one, a lesson I learned from dad as his has survived from 1966 in a good case. This case is well constructed. Doesn't close completely however when closing the lid. But once latched down it is fine. I do wish it had ground pads for the tail end of the guitar area. As there are only pads on the underside. If you stand it on end like most will be mindful of what you sit it on. If you sit it on concrete it could scuff the material of the case. Other than these two issues it's great. Good plush interior. Fits the guitar well. Good storage under the neck. Like some have mentioned there is a smell. But I left it open the night it was received and the smell was gone so that is a no issue. In conclusion, great case for a reasonable price, the lowest on amazon and fast two day free shipping with prime. You will not go wrong with this case it will protect the guitar much better than a soft-shell but not as well as some of the expensive airplane luggage vault types listed. So don't expect to throw this through the luggage drop off and your good for everyday use and personal travel.

Cheap Dependable Guitar Case
Having a difficult time rating this item, If I could, I'd give it 4 1/2 stars, 4 seems too low.Well from day one, as other reviewers noted, it did have a toxic zombie smell to it, but airing it out for a day did the trick.Lets set up the scenario for the first three months, main source of transportation, the bus! As I'm off to class, first thing I noticed, it is quite heavy, made carrying the guitar on its own feel like paperweight. Eventually, you build some strength and get used to it, but make note, quite heavy and a drag if you don't own a vehicle. And for the first few weeks, I kept hitting the back of my knee with the edge of the body, as everything else, habits were built to avoid this, like tilting the case upward a bit to avoid it.Mainly bought this case to protect my guitar from being dinged by careless bystanders, or the neck being confused for a bus handle bar by a staggering passenger; yes, that did occur to me.It does the job, as I may complain about how heavy it is, it will protect the guitar from being dinged itself, deeply scratched or worst case scenario, crushed by a crazy person. I have an old Epiphone acoustic, and it fits fine, not too tight, but not loose. Sadly, I have noticed there are several scuff marks on the back of my guitar, all in the middle back area, not sure if it's due to the case, but they weren't there before.`It's made of tolex, that strange leathery plastic material. Has four latches to keep the lid tight, the handle seems very sturdy; has endured 4+ months of being lugged around back and forth. All in all, from my experience, it is a dependable case for your guitar, whether it's for daily use or casual use.

smelly case
It looks good. Doesn't close well, I always have to adjust the fit of the lid to get it to go all the way down on the main case so all the latches can latch. And it smells of poisonous construction materials -- I have put it out in the sun for hours, left it empty and open in the house for days; hopefully the smell will eventually dissipate. Other than the fit and the smell, it seems like a sturdy case that will protect the guitar.
