Portable Wire Antennas 2.11 Edition

Had to read this a couple of times to absorb enough of the technical information enough to make an antenna decision. Book is detailed and logical, easily followed just technically dense.

While not the end of all Antenna books, as usual, each book has some rather USEFUL information in it - this is one of them.The feed line information is not common knowledge, knowing that little tidbit payed for the book, IMO, that's the kind of stuff professionals deal with, daily. The author, a fellow HAM, makes the assumption, you're not a complete idiot, and have a little bit of knowledge about wire antennas.If you enjoy the HAM hobby, and like building antennas, and find so many of the ARRL books ..lacking.. enough information to go ahead and build, get this book. At the least, you'll come away with a better understanding of antennas, and how they work. Another book in my collection, but unlike many of the others - this is not just a collection of ARRL articles, it's well written, and easy to comprehend.

Best book on the subject available !!Consise, clear on the various antenna formats.

Great book, tells me what I need to know for portable operations.

This book I found to be excellent for the radio ham,working with wire antennas!

A more in depth study of antennas, some that need to be in the air high above ground and some that can be operated close to ground. Since these are portable to be used on site they are simple and light to carry.

genial, bien concu, bien de qualite avec ses images detailles. en englais, conseille aussi pour ceux qui veulent apprendre, car tout le projets contiennent une longue explication.
