Excellent for the price.
I am a former electrician and now work in a maintenance setting. I wanted something for side jobs and home DIY projects and you can't ask for anything better for this price! The other options around are not nearly as rugged, not lithium ion and dont come with as many bits (which weren't all that bad actually) plus the hard case is pretty decent and has a contractor look and feel. The power is surprisingly good and the light and battery display are great features. The grip is decent and the frame is ok. I was expecting more metal but for 45$ you can't go wrong.I have so far used it on one remodel job, removing surface mounted t12 lights and installed 6" remodel cans. This drill can easily handily a 1" spade for drilling through ceiling joists and driving long screws. I wouldn't use it all day with a spade but for a few holes it was perfect. The only thing that I can say I was hoping for was a one hand chuck but that would have been too much for the price. For 45$ you can't get anything better and I highly reccomend this drill. If you are a pro this wont be much more than a temporary tool until you can afford something like a makita or dewalt but this will hold you down longer than a Chicago electric or comparable. If you are a DIY guy or gal or do small projects buy this today.

Great cordless impact driver...
This drill packs a punch and is ideal for those jobs require heavy torque. I used this to help finish my deck and the performance was just as great as my old Craftsman driver. My Craftsman had slightly more torque power, but it was also a corded unit. I can't express to you how much easier it is to use a cordless drill with this type of power. You can read the specs yourself, but let me tell you about how it performed on my deck. 1. It eliminated the extension cords I had running all over the place. They were either too short and had to be re-plugged or would become tangled on something. 2. I had more than enough power to drive home 4" screws and 7" lag bolts. If you were to use a traditional cordless drill, you would either run out of juice driving it home or strip the screw. This made easy work of both because you are getting about 1,400 lbs of torque. 3. It comes with a 7 piece bit set, and while I only used two, they worked well. 4. The quick release made changing bits a breeze. The action was smooth and just a push up drop the old bit and allowed me to insert the new one. 5. Battery level helped me with determining how much power I had left. I never ran out, but it is a nice feature to have. 6. This drill is built to last. When they say "strong enough to withstand daily abuse', they mean it. It survived a 10ft. drop off of my ladder onto the ground. For someone wanting to drill screws in drywall or your living, this definitely isn't the drill for you. But if you need to drill screws/bolts over 4" in length into a resistant material, this is the perfect drill for you. This drill would be perfect for someone wanting to add a deck or build a small shed outside...which is my next project.Highly recommended and seems like it can stand up to the bigger brands.

Very Powerful Impact Driver - Highly Recommended
This Dextra 15160 18-Voit Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver Kit is a powerful and well designed tool that is perfect for the handyman or do-it-yourself'er. I am not the most handy person around and my wife has been know to confiscate my tools after my projects fail to meet her expectations ("The Great Strap Wrench Fiasco" comes to mind), but tasks do pile up and sometimes it is necessary to wade in and get work done without resorting to the expense of bringing in a professional. I have tackled quite a few "honey do" list tasks using the Dextra Saw, Impact Driver, and Drill sets they sent me to review, and I can say that these all work better than any cordless tools I have tried in the past. Here are my observations:Pros -+ Quality; these are well made and are quite durable+ Power; plenty of power with the 18v rechargeable battery+ Battery; charges quickly on the included charger and has LEDs to indicate the remaining charge with the touch of a button+ Case; comes with a good hard case that holds everything quite nicelyCons -+ Blades; the included bits were not great but they are standard, so I was able to find them locallySince working on anything mechanical fills me with dread, I took this driver to a friend's garage for a more expert opinion and he spent sometime working of rusty bolts on lawn equipment with it (including my ancient push mower that was long overdue for some TLC). While he has much more expensive professional grade equipment, we were both more than impressed with the power and functionality of this reasonably priced impact driver.Overall, I am very happy with the Dextra tools!Highly Recommended!CFHNote: sample provided to review
