Bigjigs Rail8 Way Turntable - Other Major Wooden Rail Brands are Compatible

My grandson is 2 and loves this item and learned how to work it right away.

This is well built and the turning red piece turns nicely. The octagon angle allows pieces to be placed into each exit without getting in the way of the other pieces. We have had fun with this addition to our track and the versatility it allows us to have.That being said, I wish we had the one that fits directly into our train depot. This one, because it is an octagon shape and has both the male and female connections, will not fit into the standard depot. The angles aren't right. It just makes it take up more room on the table which limits what we can create

The turntable moves too easily. If it had a slight amount of friction that would keep it in position, it would be perfect.

Our grandson had one at his house and this was the first item on his wish list so he could also have one to play with at our house. As you can tell, he is really into trains.

I purchased this product thinking it would work with the roundhouse but it does not. It works with wooden track pieces but not with roundhouse as we expected it would.

We ordered this to complete the Thomas roundhouse we had gotten at a garage sale, but it did not fit with our roundhouse. They boys are only able to use two of the sheds. We will probably try to order another one that will work and will just use this in the middle of our train track somewhere.

Works well with compatible track sets. Purchased when it was on sale and therefore very pleased with the value for money.

As with all of our Thomas wooden train tracks, this turntable is durable and well made. I would highly recommend the wooden sets over the plastic ones.

Started ok and my kids liked it, but one plastic peg broke off after just half an hour of play. Plenty of other sections to add on to it, but it seems a shame when some of our other track has lasted for years.

Good products. Just think as some items were sold in twos they could be improved if you had one male track and one female track to help make loops easier.
