Towing Mirrors a Pair Compatible for 1998-2001 Dodge Ram 1500, 1998-2002 for Ram 2500 3500 Power Heated, Power Adjustable, Manual Folding, Left and Right Side

The mirrors look and work great. The packaging, delivery, and customer support response were excellent. The problem is that the instructions have 2 serious flaws.1. The instructions do not say how to route the mirror cable and it turns out that the most direct route (which might be considered the obvious route) will result in the cable being pinched and most likely some or all of the 5 wires inside the cable being severed when the mounting nuts are tightened. In my case, this resulted in me spending several extra hours trouble-shooting the problem (mirror goes up and down but not in and out), repairing the severed wires, and re-installing everything. I found out from a YouTube video that the cable should be routed so that it passes just above the small knob that protrudes above the long edge of the triangular ridge whose 3 corners each have one of the screw holes for the mounting bolts. See attached photo.2. The instructions refer to a "door mounting plate" which you might think is the support bracket but is actually the foam dust gasket. So the foam dust gasket should be installed onto the 3 mounting bolts after they are screwed into the mounting base of the mirror. The foam dust gasket has a fourth hole that the small protruding knob and the mirror cable goes through.A tip for other novices out there that I learned the hard way is to test that the mirror works after reconnecting all the electrical cables but before reattaching the door panel to the body.If it were not for the 2 issues with the instructions, I would have given this product a perfect 5.

These mirrors seem to be good quality, installed easy and fit fine. They did not take into account having the power adjuster knob on the door panel.. it hits nut that holds new mirror on, not allowing you to secure the door panel all the way. And the adjuster knob doesn't correlate with the direction of mirror like factory. Up is left, down is right, right is up etc etc. Other than that no complaints and have been on for a week. Would buy again.

Driver side arrived with a short in it which burns out the IOD fuse. Requested replacement and they needed the box and a list of things that I didn't keep. I unplugged the mirror and adjust manually. Not worth purchasing twice.

Installed them on my 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee for towing

Door panels were a bear.. stil haven’t gotten passenger side on as the clips broke and the ones I bought didn’t fit right. Studs supplied are too long so when you install you’ll have to grind them down. My drivers door panel went back on with self tappers around the edges, screw those clips. On the upside I now can flip my mirrors up, drink a buschhh latte and wait for my mullet to grow.

Installed them when they arrived, 1 mirror wouldn’t flip open all the way and sat at an angle. They shipped a new set which installed and worked as they should. 10 months later I flipped the pass. Side mirror down and it broke off 👌🏻 They worked while they lasted. But doesn’t seem to be a reliable long term product.

Interior brackets do not line up to mirror bolts or for on 98 dodge 2500 as described. Power mirrors do not work. If you want the correct fitment and function order a quality set
