excellent cutter
This is the second pair of Klein cutter I have. The first pair lasted almost six years of daily use, cutting wires effortlessly. The cutter would have still been in use, but one of the colleagues cut through a pair of live wire, shorting the wire while nicking the cutting edge. The insulating handle worked like a charm, which is why I purchased a second pair. Klein is probably the best designed wire cutter with premium quality material. It's definitely worth the extra money.

This is, by FAR, the best pair of cutters I have ever used, owned, or even laid eyes on.I have been using my pair for 8 years in my job as an Industrial Mechanic, and I have abused the everlasting $#!t out of them. Ceiling wire? Cut. 10-24 SS bolts? Cut. Steel aircraft cable? Cut. Basically, anything I can fit in the jaws, I have tried cutting with them, and they will usually go through it. Even after 8 years of abuse, if I hold the jaws up to the light I can't see any coming in between the cutting surfaces. These things are bulletproof. I bought this set for my wife, who is a union electrician, and chews through a pair of normal ones in about 3 months. I bet this is going to be the last pair that she ever buys. (Assuming they don't get lost or stolen...)As far as the insulating properties, I have used them to cut through live 208 circuits (accidentally of course), and I'm still alive, so there is that, but I don't suggest anyone makes a habit out of doing that.

They're okay I guess
They stay sharp for the most part and the grip is comfortable, but the jaws are small, don't open very far and dont have much of an angle at allTake up too much space in my tool belt for the preformance they bring to the table
