I liked it so much I got 3 copies and gave them all away as gifts!
This book was so lovely that after having my own copy, I had to get two more - I gave one to my grandmother, one to my mother, and then ended up giving my own copy away to a friend who had just become a brand new mother!! So I'll need to order another! Marge Fenelon weaves a beautiful story from personal experience and from many fantastic sources to show us the Blessed Mother in a new way - Marge Fenelon shows Mary to be very close to us as women, mothers, wives - she reveals Mary's beautiful humanity in a way that calls us each to mirror her in our own lives. I appreciated all the insight Marge Fenelon shared from her own life, rich in ministry and a deep personal path of spiritual development. I highly recommend this book as a gift for any women in your life, and especially now over the summer - while it is deep and thought-provoking, Marge's conversational style makes it fulfilling and enjoyable summer/beach/vacation reading! Even if you think you already know all there is to know about Mary, I believe you will take away something new from this book - I know that I did!!

Great book with some a bit hard to relate
Very nicely done book, my wife liked it a lot. Only critique would be that the author (God bless her) might appear, to your "average" Catholic, to be have gone perhaps a bit further than most in her devotion (to the extent of having shrines in her house). Of course, not surprising given that the author wrote this book - and not meant in a negative way! We certainly find no fault in that, but my wife commented that some of that content seemed hard to relate to -- but overall, she found a GREAT deal positive, uplifting, and useful in the book.

Excellent content, but Editor needs to clean up errors
Marge does an excellent, beautiful job at breaking down the virtues of Mary into a palatable, practical applications for mothers everywhere. Her book invites the reader to explore the teachings of the Schoenstatt movement without pushing any sort of "agenda". This book is a perfect choice for a book club as it has a section at the end of each chapter that would facilitate great conversation. My only gripe about this book is that I felt like I was continually coming accross missed capitalization, erroneous spelling and missing sentence endings. The editor needs to take another look to clean up the errors.

Good thoughts
Our mother's group used this book last fall to help guide us in becoming better parents. I appreciated the authors efforts to correlate Mary's life to her own experiences, and her openness and honesty. I did think she might have done a little more research into historical documents on Mary, as it might have given her more clarity in the area of the Virgin Mary's early life and experiences.

Loved the Inspiration
This is a wonderful book. I am an Orthodox Christian and I love to read. However, since I speak English the Orthodox Christian books for women are seriously limited. That's when I started to search for Catholic books to read and decided to give this a try! This book is great. It is packed full of encouragement, thought provoking questions, and inspiring challenges. I am so glad that I gave this book a try. It was the perfect read during Advent.

Not for me
The author has some great points. But overall the book was a little dull and probably just too long. Again there are some good points and it’s a very EASY read.

Took the honor of Mary too far
Though I do believe this book provides some very beautiful reflections from the life of Mary and challenges for modern women to follow, the author attributes many of God's characteristics to Mary. I do believe that Mary is to be revered, but she is certainly not God.

Four Stars
Great inspiration. A little preachy at times.

Boring
Sadly I am disappointed with this book.I’ve only read half of it but thinking to cut my losses. As others have said it’s boring, wishy washy and not actually accurate regarding Mary’s life. It’s a ‘nice’ book but more something children might read at Sunday school.
