I bought this for my daughter who is 12. She has mild, high functioning autism but has enjoyed using a weighted blanket. However, it kept falling off her bed in the night. I saw this and thought I would give it a go. Usually she struggles to get to sleep for some time. I went upstairs for something and peeped in, surprised to find her fast asleep, not even disturbed by the squeak of her door. She has enjoyed laying in bed during the day under it too whilst watching tv. Says it just feels really nice. She is a weekly boarder at school and so has begged me to buy another one for her to put on her school bed because she loves it so much.

I was unsure if this would stretch sufficiently on my single bed and leave enough stretch for an adult/me under neath. I have a 10-inch deep mattress which tends to be a bit deeper than a lot of the modern foam mattresses. I am pleased to say that this was long enough and wide enough to accommodate both me and the mattress with sufficient pressure to be just right. A deeper mattress would have been probelatical for me, but possibly not for a child. Lots of variables to consider with such items, so do not be put off this style of product as I am sure they all vary. It has a lovely soft silky fabric and a smooth hem at the end. This does represent a great value item and gave me the comforting night that I needed. I shall buy another so I do not have to change it so often as moving a weighty mattress on your own can be very stressful. The sheet slid on easily once I could manoeuvre the mattress. Sensory sheets are not warm in their own right, so if you have cold rooms, there will be a modicum of finding the right things to put on top so the individual user is happy and comfortable. My body temp varies a lot, but I dislike weight and heat. A weighted blanket may be a good addition/ alternative to this item if additional pressure is required. Or just plain wool blankets thrown on top, which is what I did. I have air con to help balance temperatures in my rooms so will be experimenting in the next few weeks and into winter. Thumbs up for a good buy, with the caveat that all people are different, more so with those of us on the spectrum.

Bought for my 8 year old daughter, who WAS regularly waking through night. Put the sheet on and she has had full night sleep every night since!! We have used weighted blankets before which she likes but this is definitely a game changer, especially as she likes to keep cool during her sleep. One big hug, it helps her feel safe and comfortable. Great stretch, yet comfortable pressure, excellent value for money. Plus it's her favourite colour! Purple! Highly recommend this sensory compression blanket.

Fits really well over my 9 YO daughters standard single mattress. She's been settling into bed much better since we got it as her condition makes it hard for her to relax. We use a weighted blanket on top and she loves the combination. The colour is true to the image.

This compression blanket worked great, my little girl has sensory issues and we had problems getting her to stay in her own bed. This blanket gave her the comfort and reassurance she needed to stay on her own and our nights are less sleepless

My daughter is in the pre stages of being diagnosed with autism. Sleep is a major problem. We bought this after the weighted blanket we got was too heavy. This gives her the sensation of weight without the risks. She is completely underneath the sheet and it’s breathable. The sheet has helped us. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely brilliant for child with autism or sensory issues. It gives a good and safe hugging feeling. Breathable material great stretch in it lovely and cool for the summer but depending on your child will need duets on for winter

Is not that warm. But ok for the price and color was decent enough
