JACO Original Soundtrack

Nice collection of SOME of his classic work. The add ons are a nice touch. At least for me, I hear a song and see the movie images in my head, so it is kinda soothing. He definitely was an innovator and as many times I hear one of his songs, I still find something unique. This collection is worth the price, I feel it is a nice addition to any Jacophile out there.

As a fan of Jaco Pastorius I am deeply pleased with the playlist on this cd. I have heard old and I have heard new, and was astonished by both. Great job on these tracks. The interpitation of "Continuum" by Rodrigo Y Gabrielo is enough said. Thank you for the acoustic tenderness and agressiveness at the same time. "Longing" by Mary Pastorius and Chuck Doom is equally as tender as it is cool. This is a must have.All in all, There is a reason for this. It is a soundtrack full of sounds that satisfies the soul and creates anew. Well done.Well done.

Kickass Soundtack, to a great Jac-umentary, by great Bassist Robert Trujillo. Every artist including Jaco, totally Killz, Big Time.

What a shame this outstanding musician lost his life due primarily to drugs in my opinion. His bass work was incredible/mind blowing. He was a true innovator.

E' la colonna sonora di un Docu-Film (passato un po' in sordina) sul grande Jaco Pastorius prodotto dal bassista dei Metallica Robert Truijllo.Quindi piena dimostrazione di come l'influenza di Pastorius sull'uso del basso elettrico è andato oltre il jazz.Purtroppo la depressione maniacale, la mancata prescrizione ai farmaci, una dipendenza dalla cocaina e uno stupido e insignificante buttafuori hanno limitato i capolavori che questo grande artista poteva lasciarci...Raccolta non consigliata ai puristi: oltre ai classici di Pastorius presenta altro materiale sia interessante come il pezzo della figlia Mary Pastorius che altro di dubbio interesse.

ottima raccolta di brani del mitico bassista scomparso ahimè jaco pastorius, con brani rivisitati da altri artisti, ma anche hits originali e non album track del genio di pastorius

This was/is an awesome buy, I discover a new version of one of his Songs it is an acoustic version of Continuum buy an unknown artist by me. So great to have too, So is the DVD.
