This riggers belt is well constructed from solid nylon webbing. I own riggers belts from several boutique shops that specialize in this sort of gear and this belt stands up with them as some of my favorite gear.The webbing is well made, has no rips, tears, scuffed or fraying areas, the stitching is well done with solid thread and is stitched enough to ensure a high level of strength. The cobra buckle is a well known and super solid piece of gear. It keeps the belt together with no issues while maintaining the strength needed to make this belt life support rated (meaning the belt can be used to save your life). The only real issue with this belt is that i'm a slim 5" foot 10' and my waist is a size 32. This belt is not snug on my hips and that is an issue. Riggers belts needed to be tight around your hips if you are going to ever use them for anything other than a regular belt to hold your pants up. A loose riggers belt could injure you if there is a mistake and you fall while hooked to it. The belt itself is great but if you are barely a size 32 or one of the other sizes that is sorta on the edge, go a size down because the belt can expand several inches outward but it doesn't get any smaller than a 32

Belt is still working, however, most uniforms/jeans etc, the belt is too wide.! The belt would have lasted forever if I didn’t have to undo the Velcro and run it through the belt every time. That being said, I have had to use it for real in life or death situations, in training, the belt stood up the test of time. I’ve been using it every day since 2016 and it’s still going. I just wish it was 1.5” in width.

This is my fourth belt. Only wish the rigging loop was chrome. I love these belts.

Seems like a rugged, quality belt. For my battle belt, the wider 1.75" size is perfect. The buckle is BIG. I would not recommend this as an EDC belt unless you have an extreme loadout. I would rather use the Blue Alpha Gear hybrid for EDC since you can thread that through normal belt loops.Just to be clear, don't let my pro's and con's distract you. I'm hypercritical. I would buy this belt again and again. Good value.Before buying, be sure that you understand that the rigger's D sticks out and could scratch your carbine (or gear) during transitions.Pros: Feels strong af. Authentic Cobra buckle. Low profile buttons require intentional release. It does not open under load. Positive "click" is very satisfying. Great stitching throughout. Color looks good. Except for a small section that is soft, the belt is stiff.Cons: The cut on the Velcro adjustment tail is a bit rough; the melt could have been done better IMO. I believe the stitching causes some wavy wrinkles in the Velcro area, but it's not a huge deal. The entire belt is not stiff; it is soft between the Velcro area by the male buckle. The part that was not stiff made it harder to thread the whole thing through my battle belt, but that is a one time thing for me. The rigging loop is a natural steel color which may reflect light and it seems to have a cut inside the loop that might abrade rope. Not sure why that cut is there, but the picture of all four colors stacked shows the cut. Tan buckle did have a couple paint dings, but I'm not terribly bothered by it. This thing is going to get used and abused.

This thing is freakin heavy duty. The material is basically like two seat belts sewn together. The hardware is very solid, and when I click it in, It feels like what I imagine a seatbelt for the pilot seat of a Neo Zeon Mobil Suit Sazabi would be (look up the reference). I purchased a Small, and I wear a 32 for Levis jeans, and its non-beltable, but usually wear a belt to make it snug. I purchased a small, and using a soft tape measure, the minimum size this can be is 31Inches, due to the fact that the male buckle cannot take in the belt from the point of where the double layer is. The maximum this belt can go, while having all the hook and loop make contact, is 34 inches. you can get another inch but you would be using only 3" of the full 6" of hook material on the male end of the belt, which would change its properties for strength. Not sure if any other reviews have mentioned this, but keep in mind, for someone who has a 31-32" waist, the part that you pull from the male end to tighten that has the hook material to attach to the loop material on the belt, once tightened, will be 3 layers of the material on the male end (your right side, if you are wearing the belt the way it is shown on the picture, with the D-ring on your left. This means your right side from the buckle going to your rear will have three layers of material for 12" from the buckle. Just thought this might be helpful for someone somewhere. See attached photos, to understand why a small can only get down to a 31". In the second picture, it shows that the buckle cannot accept any more belt because of where the other layer of belt is sewn in. The first photo is an attempt to get a different angle for sizing.

I purchased this belt over a year ago and use it 4-5 days a week. I needed a very rigid belt that wouldn’t bend and sag while wearing a glock 21 with a TLR-1 and full sized duty holster, a long with 3 magazines. This belt is perfect for that. It holds my equipment perfectly in place with no sag. This belt is large but will fit in the belt loops of deluth trading ballroom jeans. I can’t be more pleased with this belt. Many of my coworkers have also purchased this belt for similar equipment with great results. An added plus is the quick release buckle for those days you decide to pullover and eat at a random taco cart in the middle of nowhere.My belt shows no real rings of wear, but if it ever did fail I would buy another one in a heartbeat. I have no reason to use the D ring but it’s pretty robust so I’m pretty sure it would hold my 200 pounds with a full load out.

A very sturdy and ridged belt. Perfect for a holster/duty belt. Be sure to check your pants size and size the belt to that. Its very comfortable and the cobra buckle looks legit. I don't plan to use it in a rigging situation, so I'm not hanging from it any time soon. But if you had to, I would bet it would easily hold your weight.There are no velcro liners, so if you're looking to index it to a battle belt or inner belt. This isn't the belt for you. But if you're looking for an EDC belt, or holster belt, this is perfect.

Probably the best belt i will ever own. Looks, feels and acts as a high quality product. Looking forward to use it in years to come.

Ich liebe die Cobra-Schnallen - sehen toll aus, sind bombenfest und sehr anwenderfreundlich. Ein Handgriff (natürlich ohne dass sie dabei unter Last stehen) und sie sind offen. Ich nutze die normale Cobra schon mehrfach, jeweils an einem fertigen Gürtel und mit selbstgefertigten leichteren Gürteln, bisher alle ohne den in die Schnalle integrierten D-Ring.Als ich einen Gürtel mit der neuen D-Ring-Variante suchte, bin ich auf den Gürtel von Elite gestoßen. Teuer ist er, aber wenn er auch als Sicherheitsgerät genutzt werden soll und im Amazon-Sonderangebot erworben wird, ist er seinen Preis wert.Schon beim Auspacken war ich beeindruckt. Das Teil ist auf Grund seiner Stabilität eher ein "leichter Kletter-ohne Sitz-gurt" (also einer ohne Beinschlaufen) als ein Hosengürtel. Er lässt sich recht problemlos in eine Jeans einfädeln. Das Markenschild ist innen, was ihn beim Tragen auch unauffälliger macht, nur die Schnalle macht ihn besonders. Nun war ich sehr aufgeregt, meinen neuen Begleiter auf Herz und Nieren zu testen:Erster Test: Praxis als Hosengürtel - problemlos, fest, bequem, in Größe M aber definitiv nicht kleiner einstellbar als Weite 32!Zweiter Test: Nutzen des D-Rings als Befestigung für eine Werkzeugfangleine bei Arbeiten in größeren Höhen (Leiter, Dach, Baum) - D-Ring super erreichbar, einfach nach vorne schwenken, Leine für Zange oder Akkuschrauber einhängen, fertig.Dritter Test: Arbeitsplatz- /Standplatzsicherung - mit Schraub-/ Twistlock-/ Magnetron -Karabiner oder Ankerstich super nutzbar, stabil und recht bequem beim Reinfallen-lassen, ähnlich stabiles Gefühl wie bei einem Sitzgurt oder einem Feuerwehrgürtel.Ultimativer Test: Hängen und Abseilen - jeweils in Verbindung mit Abseilachter und mit HMS-Karabiner getestet (Scheu, mich hineinfallen zu lassen hatte ich nicht, da ich bereits hohes Vertrauen in die mir bekannte Cobra habe, mit Höhe Erfahrung habe und mit dem stabilen Gürtel mit der D-Ring-Schnalle lässt sich sogar ein Gelandewagen ziehen (siehe Youtube!)) - wenn man fit und nicht zu schwer/ dick ist (bei mir sind das etwa 75-80 kg), tut das Hängen im Gürtel auch nicht weh. Die Gürtellaschen und der Hosenstoff sind beim Einsteigen in die Sicherung nicht gerissen (das ist wichtig, denn ein Gürtel hängt halt an der Hose und nicht darüber wie ein Klettergurt) - das Abseilen ist dann, wenn man das sicher kann, kein Problem.Im Anschluss bzw. regelmäßig nach Belastung wurde der Gürtel, die Schnalle und der eingebaute D-Ring auf Sicht kontrolliert: Kein Faden gerissen, nichts gedehnt oder ausgeleiert, die Schnalle und der Ring makellos.Perfekt. Da ich sowohl auf der Arbeit als auch privat oft Situationen erlebe, wo ein Klettergurt oder eine PSA zu umständlich oder nicht verfügbar ist, ist dieser Gürtel eine hervorragende Ergänzung für mein EDC-Equipment und auf das lege ich sehr viel Wert.Wichtiger Hinweis: Wenn man beruflich oder vertraglich verpflichtet ist eine PSA zu tragen, vor Allem wenn man sich mit Sicherungstechnik nicht wirklich auskennt, sollte man in letzter Konsequenz auch einen entsprechenden Gurt und Verbindungsmittel nutzen, da dieser Gürtel meiner Kenntnis nach leider keine offizielle Qualifizierung für Absturzsicherung hat (Schade, das Zeug dazu hat er!). Alle meine Tests hat der Elite allerdings bestanden. Sollte der nochmal im Angebot sein, werde ich mir noch einen zweiten (für eine zweite Hose) kaufen.Grüße A.K.

Der Preis ist nicht ohne, allerdings bekommt man hier einen besonders qualitativ verarbeiteten Gürtel aus super Materialien. Die Cobra Schnalle ist von AustriAlpin und entsprechend hochwertig und beanspruchbar. Das Gurtgewebe, die Nähte, das Klettband sind sehr robust, sehr reißfest und sauber verarbeitet sowie laut Hersteller nach militär Vorgabe gefertigt, was meiner Meinung nach der Tatsache entspricht. Der Gurt ist zudem doppelt zusammen genäht und zusätzlich durch ein Kunststoffband innen verstärkt, wodurch er besonders zugfest und formstabil ist. Der Nachteil dabei ist jedoch eine mindest Umfangweite, also genau auf Größe achten.

Saved a bunch of money! NFPA RATED! The belt is comfortable and works great with my turn out pants!
